Netflix Narrows Down JESSICA JONES Release Window

At this year's Summer Television Critics Association tour, Netflix has given a more precise indicator of when they'll stream Marvel's AKA Jessica Jones starring Krysten Ritter as the titular heroine and featuring Mike Colter as Luke Cage.

In addition to the Jessica Jones release date info, Netflix also stated that fans should expect a new Marvel series to stream every six months. With Daredevil premiering earlier this year in April, a six-month gap would have Jessica Jones launching in October, which supports Netflix's comment that Jessica Jones would stream in 4Q 2015. Continuing along that same six-month release window, Daredevil season 2 (which is filming in NYC right now. Jessica Jones wrapped 3 days ago.) would premire in April 2016. This statement from Netflix refutes previous remarks from the company that each Marvel series would steam a year apart. While Netflix does not release ratings, perhaps the viewership for Daredeveil is prompting the streaming service to be more ambitious in it's collaboration with Marvel/Disney?

Marvel's Jessica Jones will star Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, David Tennant as Purple Man, Rachel Taylor as "Hellcat" Patsy Walker, Carrei Ann-Moss as Harper and Eka Darville as Malcolm. Melissa Rosenberg serves as executive showrunner.

They need to start doing 3 shows a year in order. They Jessica jones season 1, daredevil season 2, luke cage season 1 still to come although the actor has already been hired and possibly punisher season 1. To many seasons till we get to defenders.

I dont have high expectations for this, jessica jones just isnt a character that can have a standalone tv show, i will still going to give it a try but i will probably drop out and luke cage the same shit, iron fist is different, purple man another weak villain ?, the sucess of daredevil first season was many elements of the tv show especially director Steven DeKnight wont return for season 2 beacuse of transformers

Well Daredevil already exist in the MCU and considering Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Hellcat, The punisher and Elektra are being introduced before Captain America Civil War could thier be a possibility of them showing up?? Oh and we also have secret worries!! So more super hero's would have to be registered.......

I loved this actress from her work on "Don't Trust the Bitch in Apt 23". That was a funny show.

I'm looking forward to this! Don't know too much about the character, but I haven't seen one terrible Netflix series, so I have a lot of faith.
