Trust me, he was a big part of UUncharted, if Edgar Wright wants him, Joss Whedon will make him play Pym



Besides, this is nothing new, he's said that a billion times.



As I said, If Wright wants him, Joss will convince him to do it.

Fillion could certainly hold his own on screen with Downey and Ruffalo BUT...he is not right for Ant-Man.

Never really liked the guy. Then again never really watched his works either... beside Serenity which was... well didnt like it.

@MarkJulian You honestly don't believe that Nathan Fillion could be attached to one of the greatest, sophisticated, confusing, coversation with RDJ and Ruffalo? Wow. Considering the fact that even if Joss does not return for a sequel, he'll definitely have a looksy at the script. Those 3, in a room, with an Ultron prototype would be the best of the best in the witty comedic aspects of dialogue. Trust me. Thats one of the very major reason people want him for Pym.

Don't give the role to someone who doesn't want the role. Period. He has "Castle" and he doesn't seem to care to be it. I can see him in the role but if he doesn't, move on.

I never really got the all the desire for him as PYM either. Sure he is a master with witty dialog and has great timing, but there is much more to the character than that.

I could see it. But there are numerous other actors that would be just as good.


Also in reply to what he said, Yes I do... Not Ant-Man necessarily, but Hank Pym in his capacity as a significant player in the Avengers and in Marvel in general yes I absolutely do like him.

Haha.. that's funny. So many fanboys want him for this and that, sometimes people forget that it's fans, not the actual actor who pushes to be in every fancast.. That said, he woulda been awesome on screen with RDJ and others. Might be not his dream role and all, but I'm sure he wouldn't refuse if asked, haha. Trouble is, he won't be asked. Not only because he's not a box-office draw, but he's on a TV show almost for the whole year. I mean he just really wouldn't have time to do anything besides his Castle gig. Listen guys, Nathan Fillion won't be in ANYTHING while he's in Castle. Simple as that.

Ant-man needs to be a second string, B-rate actor. Matt Damon is too big of a name. This needs to either be a semi-star or a unknown similar to Chris Hemsworth.
