At first I thought this was new meets old, but then I realized that this could be the paradox world where 70's Wolverine is flung into the classic X-Men mix.

Wasn't first class set in 1960 something? So how is Logan there and beast not blue?

Beast is all...non-beasty...but it's the 70's....soooo:

1.) He simply found a way to change back (albeit temporarily)

2.) At the start of the film someone goes back and changes something before First Class happens, creating a slightly alternate timeline which they work off for this film...or....something

(I'd prefer 1 tbh)

Wolverine was more baddass when Singer was around in Xmen 1 and 2. I hope we get a more violent wolverine in this movie and the wolverine.

Hugh Jackman looks the same as he used when he played the character for the first time in 2000. The Hollywood healing factor really works.

Days of Future Past and no Sentinels?! I'd call foul like a motha f@cka if that happened!! That's like saying hey let's have a Doomsday story about Supes, but leave Doomsday outta it. Makes no sense at all...

I just want to see this. I don't care how things look now, I just want it. An actual storyline based on an actual book and it seems they're trying to do things somewhat right. Make it happen!!

So Wolverine is the time traveller then, yup another Wolverine and friends movie , thought we were moving away from that. First Class really was a breath of fresh air with no Wolverine.

In X2 Hank McCoy had a cameo on television and he appeared human, so he must have cured himself and before X3, he turned back to Beast.

... What the hell?

Why are Logan and young Beast even in the same room together? Is... oh, God, is Wolverine the guy who's going to travel into the past?!?

That is bullshit!

For God's sake, First Class finally proved that there could be a good X-Men movie that didn't revolve around Logan... so why are we regressing to the "Logan is the only X-Man who matters" model? I was sincerely hoping that Wolverine would just show up in the dystopian-future sequences, but that the main storyline would take place in the past, thus relegating Logan to a supporting character role and developing the Xavier/Magneto characters as the leads.

Honestly, I hope I'm wrong about this, and that there's a better explanation for this photo than "Wolverine is, once again, the main character." I love me my Wolvie, but the guy has a great-looking solo film coming out this year-- there is NO REASON to over-expose him by making him the lead of the X-Men franchise too.

Maybe he cured himself. That might explain why he was human in X2! Maybe some errors are finally going to be fixed!

Time travel, mofos! Maybe they go back in time to before Beast changes. They've never said that this movie will take place entirely after the events of XMFC.

Also, why are people assuming this means Wolverine is the time traveler.

He doesn't age, so this is probably him in that time.
