Great to hear if this is true. I loved Bale as Nolans Batman but I feel like it would have caused more trouble than good. It would really take away from the ending of TDKR. I was hoping they would keep Nolan's Batman it's own thing and just recast him for JL.

Loved the dark night trilogy, but Bale was just not Bruce Wayne for me. Who ever they cast as the next batman better be as big a Cavil at least.

Lol wouldn't be surprised that Beall's script was thrown out considering he got the job on the strength of Gangster Squad.

I would like to see Snyder direct Justice League, and I am glad that Bale is not going to be Batman again, as it is time for a new take.

Probably for the best. I liked Nolans Batman but the way the character was presented and the way they ended his story with TDKR he wouldn't be a good fit in a JL movie.

Christ I wish Viggo Mortensen was a decade younger he'd make such a perfect Batman, personally I think Bale was excellent but if he doesnt do it I'd perhaps go for Eric Bana.

Am I the only one who imagines Bale, Cavill, Snyder and Nolan sitting down watching the avengers and both thinking 'Christ we could do this so much better'.....

It's still cool. Nice dream for a minute, but with Bale out, it keeps the Dark Knight universe intact. They just need to keep Cavill as Superman and really, really look for a good Batman. They have to cast for two parts when finding the right Batman. He has to be a good Wayne too.

In fairness no one knows what the truth is, but this seems to make more sense. If MOS does fail, which I highly doubt, I can't WB going forward with Justice League plans. So they are probably waiting before they make any moves.

I remember watching SuckerPunch thinking "Why are such ridiculously sick visuals being wasted on this movie. This should be a CBM getting this treatment". And now, it is!

This would make more sense. I can totally see Norlan producing, and Snyder being involved, but not Bale. It would be too confusing to the regular movie masses, and they would almost certainly undo what was done with TDK Trilogy, unless you use an elsewords or Multiverse reasoning, and that will surely confuse people.
