I was honestly thinking about checking this out but I still can't wrap my head around how these guys got through the black hole. But then again it IS "science fiction". lol I'm just a huge space buff so I always nitpick space flicks!

Finally saw both Interstellar and Big Hero 6 yesterday, recommended!

Speaking of BH6, it's $148 million in only 20 or so countries it's doing really great itself!

I'm trying to decide whether I should see Big Hero 6 today, or see Interstellar for a second time.

Decisions... decisions

@TheRationalNerd Also, the biggest scientific takeaway is said to be the cyro-sleep. Plus, that scene was beautiful.

@TheRationalNerd - You're right, the trip through the singularity is where the "fi" of "sci-fi" kicks in. Normally if you went past the event horizon (and sometimes you wouldn't even make it there, it all depends on the black hole's mass), you would be ripped and crushed by the tremendous gravitational tidal forces caused by the curvature of spacetime.

But the movie offers an explanation that works within the context of its story, don't worry :)

BUT YOU GOTTA GO SEE IT, YA BIG DUMMY!!

The tolken black guy and the generic white guy (that's not McCaughnehey or Damon) don't do anything but give a way exposition.

What we know for a fact now is that the Chinese like our trash. Movies like Interstellar and Transformers 4 are proof of this.

Interstellar was flawed, but extremely ambitious. Not Nolan's best, but definitely worth seeing, in real IMAX if possible. What a treat.

Big Hero 6 was great! Diverse cast, great message, uplifting themes, and surprisingly funny (even if the movie is kind of a ripoff of The Iron Giant). Baymax definitely steals the show, much like Groot did in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I can't fathom what appeal people see in Dumb and Dumber.

Why are you describing Marvel films with their tomen characters? You mustve clicked on the wrong article.

Comedies always tend to be more specific to the country and culture they were made in.Whats funny in America may not play well in in Britain and vice versa. We just went through an election season in the states and are ready for some laughs.Good for Dumb and Dumber To.

Too many plotholes (i.e. "bootstrap paradox", innacurate time dilation and length contraction, improper use of relativistic energy and momentum, etc.). Overly pretentious Nolanites will love it though...idiots.
TheAmericanPatriot

Dumb and Dumber 2 was also terrible, but that was expected. Interstellar was suppose to be good but it leaves you going 'WTF?' at the end.
