SDCC '13: Joss Whedon Announces THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON; Title Card Revealed

Thanos, who? Marvel Studios brought Joss Whedon out on stage for one final reveal at their San Diego Comic-Con panel and he showed a brief teaser which not only included a first look at Ultron, but also the title of the sequel; The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

No, you're not dreaming! The sequel to Marvel's The Avengers will indeed be titled The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Below is a brief footage description courtesy of Superhero Hype, and as you can see, Ultron himself was revealed. What this means for Thanos is unclear, but it could be that the studio will introduce him in Guardians of the Galaxy and then have him face off against Earth's Mightiest Heroes in The Avengers 3. Needless to say, this raises some VERY interesting questions; will Hank Pym - Ultron's creator - be introduced in this movie ahead of Ant-Man for example?

It begins outside an alien temple. A man approaches. The Avengers footage is super quick, featuring lines from the first Avengers. Slowly, CGI images form of Ultron's face. Then the title comes up. THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON.

and The Avengers fighting Ultron.
Out of everything I've heard so far today, This and World's Finest is probably the best news I've heard so far.

Jarvis gets an upgrade, Hank Pym is some fancy and popular assistant to Tony, Ultron issues, Vin Diesel flying in as Vision, bad times, good times, Vision helps with things right at the end, the day is saved, and this directly leads into AntMan film :)
