Is this movie Batman Vs. Superman or Justice League? Hot on the heels of the news that Gal Gadot will be playing 'Wonder Woman' in the Zack Snyder helmed follow-up to Man of Steel, Variety has now confirmed earlier reports that The Flash will also make an appearance!

Buried in Variety's report about Gal Gadot being cast as Wonder Woman (you can read more on that - including the first comments on the news from director Zack Snyder - by clicking HERE) is confirmation from Variety that 'The Flash' will indeed make an appearance in Batman Vs. Superman. However, with the site promising cameos from "several" other members of DC's superhero team (more on both that and which 300 star Warner Bros. are looking at for the villain can be found HERE), you would be forgiven for thinking that this is in fact a Justice League movie! It's worth noting that while they say that Wonder Woman and The Flash are now locks, they don't know whether that will entail a "significant role or a cameo".

Of course, this leads us to wonder (no pun intended) exactly what Warner Bros. have up their sleeve for "Batman Vs. Superman". With rumours that 'Doomsday' will also be featured, will we kick things off with the World's Finest, only to see them later joined by the rest of the Justice League? That would of course lead perfectly into a movie featuring the entire superhero team! However, with 'The Flash' also now confirmed, it's inevitable that fans will be speculating about whether or not we'll see Grant Gustin in this role, especially as the first season of the CW series will have only just ended - providing it gets a full season order - by the time Batman Vs. Superman is released.

The Wonder Woman, Flash, potential Cyborg and so on and so on should be limited to cameos.

The premise was enough with Bats and Supes. Let this pave the way for a future JL film.

I have a feeling that this was not planned, and the script was not working like WB wanted to. WB doesn't plan. They're like the Joker. They just do things.

Its a Man of Steel sequel with Batman in it and cameos from Wonder Woman and Flash (most likely not in costume). Is that really so hard for people to wrap their heads around?

FIrst people complain that DC isn't doing anything with their properties, then they announce Batman/Superman with likely WW and Flash cameos to set up stand alone films/JL and people still complain. I dont understand fanboys sometimes.

@ChrisEl if the rumored titles are anything to go by then this is a Man of Steel sequel with a supporting role from batman and a couple cameos (cameos are very common in CBMs) Whats wrong with that?

Nick56, if you correct thent there is nothing wrong with this at all. I'm just coming at this as a Superman fan who wants the Man of Steel to get a proper sequel. But you raise a good point.
