I just realized that Creed isn't going to be released here until early 2016... [frick] that! >:(

Creed it's one of the best films of the year (outside MM:FR), I would say is a masterpiece, Stallone deserve a Nomination for best supporting actor.

MBJ for Elijah Bradley/PATRIOT

I know they already cast him but I still think he would have made a great cyborg. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, he already voiced the character at one point in a dc animated movie.

Maybe MBJ will pull a Chris Evans and end up finding the perfect fit the second time around.

I'm guessing Warner Bros is going to fast track him for a role in the DCEU.

You're only as good as your last movie and Creed is getting good reactions. i think he's already walked away from that FF disaster movie without a scratch. And whoever blames him or the other actors for that horrible FF movie is intellectually challenged. Blame the writers, director and whoever green lit that piece of garbage. Gonna try and see this. i was always a sucker for the ROCKY movies. i got them all in BluRay......next to all my FF movies. ;)

@SageMode

He's a good fit, but I don't think the MCU needs a Patriot right now. Or any Young Avengers. With more diversity of characters coming soon (shrinking, magic, Spidey, alien kind of stuff), it would be too convenient to see a junior varsity version of the originals come in, especially if they're replacing the characters/actors as their contracts come up.

Is there a potential story in there worth telling? Sure. Maybe Cap dies/retires around Infinity War and there is a sort of scuffle over the mantle with different branches of the government painting War Machine red-white-and-blue again, sanctioning the Punisher and/or Nuke, restarting Project Rebirth with Patriot, and with Falcon and/or Bucky taking up the shield. A story about everyone trying to fill shoes no one can fill (or exploit the name of a fallen hero) could work. But short of something like that, we don't need another star spangled hero, I think.

@CAPTAINPINKEYE

I think he got dinged a bit for the "They'll see it anyway" quote (and more importantly attitude). You're right that the blame for the badness of the movie isn't on the actors, generally, but Jordan did not come out of that production and marketing campaign looking good.

Creed was amazing. Oscar potential flows throughout that film. MBJ and Sly, incredible filmaking.

Just make MBJ John Stewart please.

Boseman is perfect as Panther, both MBJ and Boseman have incredible acting capabilities and talents. I think Boseman showed the most range when he played James Brown, but I'm sure MBJ has that in him as well.

lol No he shouldn't have. MBJ's a decent actor, but not BP. I'd pin him as Falcon if Anthony Mackie wasn't killing it in the role.

@SageMode @Spock0Clock It would actually be kind of unreal, in a good way, if MBJ was Patriot. Chris Evan's first Human Torch in a terrible FF movie, goes on to channel all of that talent and charisma which was evident in the film but not exploited to its full potential, to play Captain America and he is kind of so good at it that his portrayal is almost becoming synonymous with the character.

Fast forward to now, Michael B Jordan, selected to play the second Human Torch in an even worse movie but it's so clear, just like with Chris, that he has all the makings of a great superhero actor. If Marvel Studios scooped him up to play Patriot, a younger cap-ish character who looks up to and works with Chris Evans Cap. America it would be such a rewarding (also pretty unrealistic but suspend your disbelief for a sec) thing to see, to have had all of those events unfold. Both actors are just such natural leaders on screen it seems fitting.

But alas, it seems like the folks at Marvel don't really have plans to develop the Young Avengers characters. Who knows, that could change though. Reflecting back on reading Young Avengers I actually really enjoyed reading it and think it would be a fine fit for maybe a Netflix series a few years down the road, when they have some more miles under their belt.

@ Luigi

No dude you have to see it! You need to see how bad it is. It’s like when someone farts and everyone smelled it but you. And then years later they’re like “ Remember when Kevin farted and it smelled so bad we had to leave the room?” But you didn’t smell it back then so you feel left out. Do you really want that hanging over your head?

"MBJ: No, yeah, I got out of there pretty clean..."

I just saw the last 20 min of Failtastic and Mikey B was just as atrocious as the rest of the cast. Let's be honest, he sucked.
