Honestly IMO, I really don't like the LOTR music. Seems way too depressing. I think the CC footage was WAY better than this, that got me real hyped to watch this film.

Also, I read on another website that at high altitude combined with high speed the contrails would form off of each leg or something...idk why everyone wants to nitpick that (THE MAN IS FLYING).

My sister went to see TDKR with her friend last night, and I asked her how the Man of Steel trailer was. She said: "Eh, ok i guess. More of a teaser".

That... Did not excite me at all. That last thing I want is another reverential, Superman as Jesus film. The cinematography felt like a jeans commercial. Plus, as my little cousin can attest, Rainbow Dash pulls off the end shot better.

I still have significant hopes for the film itself, but as a teaser meant to stir my interest or begin to get me excited, it was a wasted effort.

Ya! But people would've thought that these early shorts are not from an Indie drama, cuz of titles like: "Next Summer" , "From Zack Snyder" "From Chris Nolan"

This is exciting!

Good stuff! I'm getting excited for this now. At first I was like "Okay...Avengers was my must see in the last few years" but I have yet to see DKR, TASM and now this coming out next year. They keep putting them out like this and I'll need a special bank account to hold money for movies alone!

Seems like it has potential to really set itself apart from the originals and do its own thing. Seems like he doesn't just raise his head at the age of 30 and is then all of the sudden Superman.

Perhaps there shall be a trial by fire that refines his man into a Superman....

I actually think this trailer does a better job of narrowing in and setting up what Snyder expects his Superman trilogy to resemble than the Comic-Con preview. So much of this tidbit is filled with a sense of Messianic promise. And if you look carefully, you can see that Snyder has been influenced a bit by Terrance Malik's Tree of Life. Both the Malik movie and MOS trailer deal with a protagonist reflecting upon his past experiences with his father while making sense of his life in the greater scheme of things. They both even have a very cosmic feel.

I have to say I think it's rubbish. I think the movie will be great, but like the Begins teaser, you wouldn't even know what film it was til the end.
