Christian Bale spoke with USA Today about seeking out smaller budget films like Out of the Furnace and American Hustle after playing Batman in three studio blockbusters. "It's very rare that people who do massive films like that want to repeat with another massive film. You're dealing with a small army, everything you do requires hundreds of people -- vs. a lower-budget film where you can spin on a dime. You have less people breathing over your shoulder. You can alter the script in 10 minutes and decide you're going to go in a totally different direction and nobody questions you, you just do it. There's great a freedom to it." Speaking to Crave Online, actress Zoë Saldana compared her Avatar character, Neytiri to Gamora in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy. Where Neytiri is a cat, Gamora is another animal. "No, she was more of a wolf, Gamora. But she was a character that I didn’t really channel naturally, unconsciously. An animal isn’t what popped up. A bullfighter was." A brief but very visual description.

DC All Access was originally commissioned for 12 episodes but the success of the program has led to the web show being given an order of 12 additional eps. The show is hosted by Blair Herter and Tiffany Smith. I'm personally a fan of the show, I initially expected DC All Access to be all fluff but they've provided some real content with interviews with Jim Lee, Geoff Johns, Zack Snyder and more. Bale is a stupid idiot to gain that much fat for a role. Once you break that barrier life is never the same. Especially if you do it after 40. He could be the next Val Kilmer or Brando.
Look at how much Stallone changed after he got fat for Copland. He looked 35 before and even after he lost the weight his face had changed. And he suddenly looked his real age. All those years of maintenance were wasted just for Copland.

American Hustle looks good and has a solid cast, Bale being my favorite of the group. Seeing Lois Lane and the only man to play Batman in 3 films together? Sure, why not?

@Mandeth Copland was worth whatever Sly did. It's easily his best performance since the first Rocky movie. I would think that all the supplements and drugs he's been pumping into his body effected him far more than putting on some weight.
