Kate Mara Is Willing To Return As Sue Storm For A FANTASTIC FOUR Sequel
While fans aren't exactly screaming for a sequel to Josh Trank's Fant4stic, another cast member has now expressed their desire to reprise their role, though maybe not in the exact same way...
In the list of "superhero sequels no fan wants to see", a follow-up to Josh Trank's Fantastic Four Fant4stic is probably right at the top. That hasn't the cast from voicing their desire to reprise their roles as Marvel's first family, however. Miles Teller recently expressed his willingness to return as Reed Richards, and it seems like his castmate Kate Mara wishes to do the same as Sue Storm.
In an interview with IGN promoting her new film Morgan, Mara said that her and her castmates would be more than willing to play the characters in a different way than the dark and dour portrayal showcased in Fant4stic. "Oh yeah, I'd love to be a part of a Fantastic Four sequel or whatever they may or may not have in store for us, and I know all the guys feel the same way. We loved working with each other and we would love to actually play these characters in another way, somehow, in the future. I have no idea if that's actually true, if that will happen, but I'd be really happy to do it."
Of all the problems Fant4stic suffered from, the cast certainly wasn't one of them. Would you like to see them return for a future film? Sound off below!
