Sounds a plausible as any of the other 10,000 fanboy predictions, so why not spend an entire article on it?

Doom is going to be much more of a major focus now that Norman Osborn is off the table.

@soberchimera - Dr Doom is so much cooler anyway.

@KWilly - Lies. Lies and outrageous slander. Doom wishes he could rock a rocket-powered-bat-segway.

Now that there's no Iron Man, Captain America, or Spider-man, the MCU feels a little empty... Idk.

All I wanted was Norman Osborn/Dark Reign storyline where the bad guys try to fill the void Tony Stark has left. Mysterio even alluded to it in FFH.

@SpideyPuffsMJ -
If Disney had any desire to adapt Dark Reign/Dark Avengers/Seige/Masters Of Evil then Phase 4 was the time to do so. Trust me, i wanted to see that happen also and they could have adapted it... but Disney did not want to adapt it.

Instead Phase 4 is primarily cosmic/multiverse and phase 5 looks to be mutants/monsters.

Fargo is good, and Legion was ok but Doom is best left out of the hands of Hawley. IMO. His style might be a bit too devisive. I know too many people who didn't get or care for either at all.

I did say weeks ago after Legion ended that they might not just throw away that easily Noah Hawley's ideas for Doom and that perhaps they could attempt some kind of origin story told through Disney+. Something, anything.

In any case, the more unexpected, the better the results will be imo.

I vaguely remember Josh saying he was coming to the U.S. for his honeymoon. I wonder if he saw the sign I made for him?

"Who might not be all that bad".

This could very easily mean his origin. I've been saying for years now that in order to do Doom justice they should start with a Books of Doom adaptation.

Show him as a child in Latveria. His mother selling her soul to a demon. His father being murdered by the king for not being able to cure the King's wife's incurable disease.

Show him move to America and go to college. Meets Reed Richard's, but only briefly. Just enough to show a brief intellectual rivalry in college.

The government hires him to build weapons. Instead he creates Doombots and all kinds of gadgets. Has an accident in the government lab that causes an explosion and scars his face.

He flees and goes back to Latveria with his knowledge, builds more Doombots and overthrows the nation.

This could play out perfectly in a Netflix series and he wouldn't be seen as a villain, but an anti-hero.

Then later they can make him the villain we all know and love.

But in all seriousness they should get Doom introduced ASAP so they can do an adaptation of Triumph and Torment for Dr. Strange 3.

"According to a new report..."

A new report from where? How about any kind of citation that could give this an ounce or two of believability and credibility? Or was this pulled from thin air?

Shows and movies about villains just don’t interest me much, not Loki, not Joker, not this.

@Rpendo and the source included just has an article from a site much like this one, where anyone can write articles. Really isnt effective evidence.
