JK Rowling will always be a person that was in the right place at the right time with the right idea.

She is not (and never has been) a good writer, and all of her work post-Potter has proven this.

You can't argue with her success, but you can argue with her skill.

What happened to these films being about Fantastic Beasts?

@BlackBeltJones - Well it still has fantastic beasts, but is unsure how to use them.

@BlackBeltJones - Grindelwald, Credence and Nagini are "beasts".

@BlackBeltJones - That changed when they decided to make it a series about the Rise and Fall of Grindelwald or maybe the FB thing was always misdirection. They'll always be there, they'll have a set-piece or two in every movie, maybe as wizard weapons (like releasing an aggressive thunderbird or a dragon into a battle) in the later entries.

Should have been a trilogy but WB got greedy and decided they wanted 5 films. That will create a lot of filler and drop the quality.

Called this over a year ago. Anytime someone announces a bunch of sequels to a mediocre movie you know it's only going downhill from there

I kept saying this movie was putting me to sleep before I'd like even seen it and the first review I saw called it 'Dumblesnore'. They should've let this franchise cook a little longer

I only hope Katherine Waterson continues good roles.

Surprising response, I was expecting it to be better received than the last one.
