Fans have been anxiously anticipating an announcement for the season 7 premiere date of HBO's mega-popular fantasy series, and now it's here. Click to find out when Game of Thrones will return.

Fans have been furiously typing "Fire" into the comments section of the Game of Thrones Facebook page for the last while in order to melt the ice and reveal the official season 7 release date, and after what seemed like a full Winter in Westeros, that damn block finally revealed its secrets.

We also have a first teaser trailer. There isn't any footage from the new season, but it certainly does its job in hyping the inevitable clash of characters that'll occur in July - plus, we do get our first bit of dialogue from a certain Jon Targ... err, Snow.
