The final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is finally here and it's even more magical than you could've imagined as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) battle the notorious - and seemingly unstoppable - Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).

The new trailer also reveals a pretty major surprise as we learn that Claudia Kim is playing Nagini, a human Maledictus that will eventually become Lord Voldemort's most trusted ally as well as one of his seven Horcruxes.

There's a number of other surprises as well, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled as you check out the trailer below:

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

I like the Nagini connection.

Its a nice connection to the Harry Potter films, but doesn't feel like fan service. Plus, it actually explains why Nagini was so special. She clearly wasn't an ordinary snake.

@StormXmen123 -

Unrelated. The Dark Phoenix trailer has leaked in Russian.
I don't speak Russian but the cinematography looks good. Not a lot of displays of power, but the glimpses of fthe firebird and "Phoenix mode Jean" look great.

Oh wow they actually brought back young Dumbledore and Grindelwald's actors from Deathly Hollows

@zeon00 - Not old enough, Jaime Campbell Bower was fine for the teenage/early 20s admiring back when Grindelwald met Dumbledore, hasn't aged enough that he could play the same character decades later

This actually looks insanely good. I really enjoyed the first but this looks at a whole different level

Whilst I'm not a huge fan of Depp here just purely on the basis that his star power makes him seem slightly out of place among a largely new roster of young actors, I don't particularly dislike him in the role. I feel like he probably knew he needed to pull a big one out for this.

Other than that this has nothing in it I don't love

Looks good... but why isn't Dumbledore Irish?

Anyway, I actually enjoyed the first FB movie more than any of the Harry Potters so I am looking forward to this.

With the Maledictus character being confirmed as being Nagini (which admittedly more than a few people theorized after JK revealed what a Maledictus even was on Pottermore), I seriously have to wonder if a young Tom Riddle/Voldemort is going to show up in this series, if only to see how Voldemort got a hold of her.

@Nerdman3000 - ineveitablly I expected he would eventually make a cameo in the films. But now I think it's certain.

I wonder if they will have Tom be inspired by Grinderwald.

@StormXmen123 - I was kinda thinking the same thing. It'd be a nice connection between the original HP films.

Not sure how the title will change with films 3,4,5 with Newt taking a back seat in the later movies. It is going to be interesting to see how they change it up.

This looks really good. I'm much more excited for this one than the first Fantastic Beasts, and I'm not sure why.

I wanna see more about Zoe Kravitz's character.

@L0RDbuckethead

Probably because FBAWTFT had to reintroduce us to this world and the characters.

This movie looks like it’s going to put us right in the middle of the action. It looks A LOT better than the first.

@regularmovieguy - Very true. No introductory stuff this time. Also, I hate that acronym for this film...

FBAWTFT seems so ridiculous haha. Not that you're the first to use it, it's just funny.

I do like how magic seems a lot more dangerous here. In the latter HP, there were glimpses of the lethality and real power of magic, but here it really feels like something not to be trifled with, unless you know what you're doing. Still not a fan of freak looking GrindelDepp, but usually Depp kills it, so it's really just a look issue for me.
