JUMANJI 3 Title Possibly Leaked As Canadian Ratings Board Reveals Impending Trailer
According to the Alberta Film Ratings, the next Jumanji movie will be called "The Next Level". A new trailer is expected to drop within the coming days as Sony's Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters.
Sony hasn't officially announced the title of its Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle sequel, but thanks to Alberta Film Ratings, it may have been leaked. The website, which classifies any trailers before they play in Alberta theaters, has classfied a PG trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level, which is presumably the official name of the upcoming movie.
The 2:30 trailer is likely attached to Sony's Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is due out in theaters on July 2. Sony ran the first trailer for Welcome to the Jungle alongside Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2017. However, it's possible the trailer could be released online prior to Spider-Man hitting theaters next week.
Given the length of the trailer, we can likely expect significant plot details for Jumanji: The Next Level, which will see original stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan all return in their original roles. In Welcome to the Jungle, they each played a video game character possessing special unique abilities. Joining them on this new adventure is an impressive set of newcomers including Awkwafina (Ocean's 8), Danny DeVito (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Danny Glover (Sorry to Bother You), and Dania Ramirez (Tell Me A Story).
The game begins when Jumanji: The Next Level arrives in theaters on December 13, 2019.
