New Character Posters For Zhang Yimou's THE GREAT WALL Spotlight The International Cast

Zhang Yimou's next groundbreaking project, The Great Wall, may not hit theaters in the States until February, but in exactly one month, it will make its long-awaited grand debut in China.

Academy Award-winner Matt Damon (Jason Bourne) headlines the visionary tale as a legendary warrior that joins an elite defense force to stop a monstrous threat to China's most iconic landmark. His supporting cast includes Jing Tian (Kong: Skull Island), Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as well as a number of popular Chinese talent.

Earlier today, Universal Pictures & Legendary Entertainment debuted eight awesome new character posters (bringing the grand total to twelve) spotlighting the international cast, which should put most of your whitewashing worries to rest. Check out the posters below:

Starring global superstar Matt Damon and directed by one of the most breathtaking visual stylists of our time, Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers), Legendary's The Great Wall tells the story of an elite force making a valiant stand for humanity on the world's most iconic structure. The first English-language production for Yimou is the largest film ever shot entirely in China. The Great Wall also stars Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe and Andy Lau.
