I'm loving Arrow, but I don't want it to crossover with anything else. Arrow has killed way too many people to ever be accepted with Superman or Batman. There's no way for the writers to ever get out of that situation. There is no statute of limitations on murder, and no such thing as self defense when you are the one who goes looking for trouble.

It would be odd trying to shoehorn powers into a show that takes it's cues from Nolan's school of realism and has never even alluded to the mystical paranormal supernatural or otherwise.

Oh, and firefly was a burns-victim firefighter that was talked into self-sacrifice redemption at his hour of revenge and went out like a punk!? - whaaaat ?! O.o

No way in hell this show ties in to MoS.

I get kinda depressed when an editor comments on my article and doesn't put it on main lol. I think it would be cool to have Arrow be in the same universe as MoS. Maybe during the movie when Zod and Supes are having there epic battle, they do a panel of people looking worried and scared watching it on TV. They could show Oliver, Diggle, and his family (played by the same actors) watching the battle live. The scene would only last a few seconds, and only a certain number of people would get that that was Oliver Queen.

"The CW's Arrow has been known for it's "realistic" approach to the DC universe, having been inspired by the Christopher Nolan take on The Dark Knight, "

Visually and tonally it definitely owes a lot to Nolan's Batman, but the "realistic" approach the show takes is borrowed straight from Mike Grell's Green Arrow run and predates Chris Nolan by almost two decades.

The Dark Knight Trilogy's success opened the door for what was already there. It'll be interesting to see what other writers and runs they look from the comics should they choose to start evolving Arrow away from the Grell mold, as there's a lot of fantastic material to work from.
