I am excited which i hope stays. I just really hope to many of the other human characters are not in the movie much because it seems in the trailer like they are not that great of actors.

Well, CGI definitely needs a lot more work, Reynolds as Hal is so-so...I was expecting something better. Overall, it's not bad, but it's also not great. I look forward to see more of it, that is for sure...

How many super hero movies have had good actors in them lol? I think X-men was probably the only movie with decent actors. SHMovies are about the insane acting, they are about seeing your hero come to life and do all the stuff in live action you picture in the comics. I think this is gonna be a great interpretation of Green Lantern

Seriously guys? Honestly, I'm a huge Marvel fanboy, but even I can't let that blind me to the fact that that was an awesome trailer. I'm still having trouble trying to figure out how Thor's trailer can one-up that.

Defintiely much better than what ET showed.
But i still prefer what we have seen of THOR.
Both films will be kicking my ass next year though ;)

I've got a theory about why Hal's suit looks a bit weird - cos he's new to the ring power maybe? If you look at Sinestro's suit its so much more detailed and awesome. Maybe Hal will develop a better suit when he is in touch with the ring more (after training on Oa)

it looked good it needs work done to it though,the cgi needs some work its good in certain scene i.e oa & other corps members & bad in others the fist punch scene & costume change.

blake lively delivers one line in the locker room & its delivery is shit.

i'm not sure if ryan reynolds is right for hal jordan.

i still think thor is gonna be better,its got better cast & director.

I liked it, and I'm glad that it didn't give away so much of the plot like the Thor trailer did (though I liked that one too).

I've always loved GL cuz it's pure
SCI-FI!

This trailer is a kick-in-the-pants!

to me! Looking forward to this along

I agree. But the lack of cgi in the Thor comic-con footage has me worried. I think Asgard needs some more work done on it. I just hope we'll see a lot more cgi effects thrown into it. Something about the Thor trailer just seemed too bland, but I know that's because it was pretty much raw footage. Believe me I want Thor to come out on top!

Yeah, in regards to Lively. Hate to say it but Claybo and plenty of us called it.
The movie will still be awesome but i really hope they recast Ferris with Evangeline Lilly in the sequel!

As for Thor vs GL so far, IMHO Thor's dialog AND acting far surpasses GL's.
And i also have to give the props/set pieces/scenery to Thor as well.
I will say that GL looks like more fun though, but Thor looks more like an epic.
Comparison wise, i'd say GL looks more like Ironman while Thor looks more like 300.
Both should be very exciting :)

Superguy1591- Well, from the very little i saw, i couldn't tell if he'll be a constant clown like Wally...
or just a wise ass cracker every now and then like Hal.
Physically, Reynolds is perfectly cast, but i really can't tell if he has what it takes or better yet,
if the director had what it took to limit Ryan's usual habits of overclowning the part.
I guess we'll have to wait and see more ;)

Frogman- There's not much we can add or comment to that other than... "it's a possibility".
So yeah. It's possible. I actually like the suit this time around.
Hated the [frick] out of it on the cover a while back, but this looks much better to me.
I will agree with sagekilz though.
The mask is [frick]ing horrid.

frogsplash45- It's a full trailer of Ryan being his usual self instead of a tad more serious like Hal.
Hal does make wise cracks every once in a while but he ain't no Peter Parker.
I guess it's not really what he's saying but more along the lines of how he says it.
