James Gunn Confirms AVENGERS: AOU SDCC Footage is NOT the GOTG After Credits Scene

Director James Gunn recently confirmed on Twitter that the tag scene included with Guardians of the Galaxy will NOT be the Avengers: Age of Ultron footage shown last night at San Diego Comic Con as many have been speculating.

I kinda figured it wasn't the footage anyway! I mean guardians won't meet avengers probably until the avengers 3 so the connection for an after credit should be thanos related or an introduction to possible doctor strange!

they had avengers footage for CA TFA after credits scene, i was hoping it would be the same here, it will probably still tie into Avengers AOU though

The after credits scene will most likely be Avengers 3 related. Guardians is really trying to tease Thanos so I think what they've done was record a full motion capture end credits scene starring Brolin as Thanos.
