The idea to keep Groot a baby (a sapling?) for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 may not have just been a marketing ploy, but that doesn't mean the cute little blighter won't be used to promote the movie. This international poster smartly puts the spotlight on the infant alien, as he waves innocently while brandishing a match from the top of an enormous pile of dynamite.

Chances are this scenario won't actually play out in the film itself, and is most likely a play on Groot eagerness to set off Rocket's atomic bomb in the second trailer for the Marvel sequel.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
