New Details On Star-Lord And Ego's Dynamic In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Revealed

We're seeing more and more from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but outside of merchandise, Kurt Russell's Ego the Living Planet remains elusive. The same goes for details on his role in the highly anticipated sequel, but a description for an upcoming Marvel Legends two-pack sheds at least a little light on what we should expect.

"Roguish and unpredictable, Ego and Star-Lord share many of the same qualities as father and son," it reveals. "But when it comes to defending the galaxy as each sees fit, their approaches unquestionably differ."

This is interesting because it definitely doesn't sound like Ego will be a full-on villain here. Instead, he clearly just has a different approach to defending the galaxy to Star-Lord and company, something which will likely lead to conflict between the two. This is obviously a relatively vague description anyway, but it leaves us with something to think about!

Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell, the movie will be released on May 5th.
