It's been quiet for far too long, but we'll finally get to see some new footage from A Quiet Place Part II tomorrow, May 6.

Director John Krasinski's highly-anticipated horror sequel was one of the first major releases to be pushed back because of the pandemic last year, but Paramount Pictures recently announced plans to to bring the movie forward from this September to Memorial Day weekend (May 28), and a final trailer is set to arrive online tomorrow.

To build a bit of hype, we have a new 30-second spot featuring snippets of new footage below.

“Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”

Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe will reprise their roles from the first film, with Krasinski also set to appear in flashbacks. Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins) and Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy) will play new characters, but very little is known about their roles.

A Quiet Place Part II is PG-13 for “terror, violence and bloody/disturbing images.”

loved the first one but this is one of these movies where I don't need a sequel, it would be better left at one movie

@Blergh - you know damn well Hollywood won't let that happen if it makes money 🤑

@Blergh -

I partly agree with you. I would like to see more stories in this universe but I do feel that the family's story came to a pretty good conclusion. It would be better to see how other individuals cope on the circumstances...or don't. This is what I call a WWYD movie, as in "what would you do?", and I think these worlds lend themselves really well to different characters and narratives.

Man, I thought the first one was really overrated, but I saw it on a TV. I heard it was supposed to be really tense in the theater. That being said, thank [frick]in god they didn't cast John Krasinski as Cap, I really can't stand his ass for whatever reason.

@Waddles - you know, I've been in a dead silent theater before.
I saw Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance opening night!

Recently watched the first one, and all I could focus on were the damn plot holes around what the creatures could and couldn't hear. So, a pin drops miles away and they can know precisely where it is, but my heartbeat and breathing 5 feet from you is a blindspot? or me running on sand which isn't technically silent at all can't be heard by them? HUH

Sorry, I thought the first one was quite boring and nonsensical in too many places. I think the Pitch Meeting for this one is one of my favorites.

First one was a pretty entertaining sci fi flick. Looking forward to it.

This sequel was begging to be called "A Quieter Place".... Their creative-department really dropped the ball on that one. :-P
