The full trailer for the upcoming Child's Play remake is now online, and it features Mark Hamill's first words as Chucky. Granted, he only has one line right at the end, but it should be enough to give fans a pretty good idea of how the Star Wars actor is going to sound as the evil little shit.

The rest of the teaser is pretty standard horror fare, as the killer doll wreaks havoc with an assortment of knives, hammers and Christmas lights. The violence is really only hinted at in a few brief shots, but they do suggest that the movie won't be shying away from gore.

Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think in the comments.

In this re-imagining of the classic '80s horror flick, the "Buddi" doll won't be possessed by the spirit of a serial killer (played by Brad Dourif in the original), and will instead be some kind of secret military weapon prototype. Yeah, we have our doubts too!

A contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic, Child's Play follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.

Child's Play also stars Beatrice Kitsos, Ty Consiglio, Brian Tyree Henry and Gabriel Bateman, and is set to slash its way into theaters on June 21.

This looks awful, tbh. Also, as much as I love Aubrey Plaza, she seems really miscast as the caring single mother.

First trailer was better. This one looks fanmade.

Totally underwhelming. I’m a BIG Chilld’s Play/Chucky fan - including all the movies - but sadly, think I’ll have to skip this in the theater. I agree with every one else, what a poorly made trailer. I don’t know who that creepy fat dude is, but looks like he’s the one making Chucky do bad stuff. Totally turned off by some internet psycho controlling him.

Why is Andy so old? Weird that he'd still play with dolls. Also, Aubrey Plaza sounds like April Ludgate pretending to care about her son. The original Child's Play is basically perfect, so there's nowhere for this remake to go but down.

Big Child's Play fan here, but what is this supposed to be? He is some A.I. gone bad and can actually control other products in the house? That totally undermines Chucky's scare factor, if he can just let other machines make a few kills for him. This reboot was unjustified from the start, the OG series is literally still going strong and a tv-series, following the events of Cult of Chucky is on its way. Fack this reboot.

@Tcb97 - I'm really hoping they still work it in as a possession thing and just give the killer a new lease on life by being able to control things through the dolls AI. The Chucky voice by Hamill sounds more human than AI in the trailer.

I love Aubrey Plaza, I obviously love Mark Hamill, but no. I'd be very surprised if this is any good.

Looks like the kind of slasher movie that takes at least a decade of being sold in grocery store bargain bins before being fully appreciated.

In the third act of the movie, sure "Chucky" Hack the other Buddi dolls and kill the people of the mall.

I thought the shot where the kid wakes up and realizes Chucky is in the shadows (I imagine he put him down somewhere else before he went to sleep) watching him was creepy. The way the light shifts you’re not quite sure if it’s the light moving or the doll.
