After reading Fables, that's the only version of Pinocchio I want to see in a movie.

I've only seen Matt go up against Bullseye in the bulletin so far, but man, that fight was crazy cool. It's weird how such a gritty show can capture the absurdity of both Matt and Bullseye's powers so well. Hopefully they can continue the badassery in the bossfights moving forward and still keep it fresh, because every time Bullseye did something unexpected, he would pull out another curveball out of nowhere, almost LITERALLY.

Anyone else think the powers that be are kicking themselves after the success of Halloween for not moving forward with the Neill Blomkamp Aliens sequel?

AyMan - 10/23/2018, 9:20 AM
@TheUnworthyThor - Yeah, but not because of Halloween I think. I think because Alien Covenant didn't produce the numbers the studio thought it would.

Halloween is more like the cherry on top for Ridley & FOX.

@AyMan - Well yeah you can’t divorce yourself of the knowledge of how Covenant performed. But Halloween is such a perfect example of the very same premise succeeding and succeeding huge. They might have been lamenting the box office of Covenant but I’m not sure they were thinking a sequel would have done any better...until this weekend.
AyMan
AyMan - 10/23/2018, 9:44 AM
@TheUnworthyThor - Right exactly. I was very for the Blomkamp idea for Aliens 5 than Covenant. I just think it was Ridley feeling the necessary entitlement to continue the franchise his own way. I get it, but, some of these writers and directors need to realize that when these movies become franchises, considering it YOURS after you left and decided to come back, is not right. It belongs to fans, fans who know where they would like to see it go. Not...COVENANT. Very dull Alien film.

Maybe it's just me, or my knowledge of the pre-existing films but...I found Halloween to be a good movie, but a little underwhelming when all said and done.
