Stephen King's IT: Watch The First Trailer As Pennywise The Clown Terrifies Town
Scared of clowns? Well, you'd best turn away now because the terrifying first trailer for the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's IT is here and the movie looks legitimately frightening...
IT hasn't had the easiest of journeys to the big screen, but the Stephen King adaptation has finally debuted its first trailer. While that shot of Pennywise the Clown popping his head up in the sewers is a tad comical (unintentionally), things soon get terrifying, and this legitamtely looks like it could be a full on, terrifying horror movie. That will obviously come as welcome news to fans of the prolific author.
Andrés Muschietti is directing IT for a release on September 8th this year making it 2017's second Stephen King adaptation after The Dark Tower in July. Should it succeed, the plan is for a sequel to adapt the second half of the lengthy novel dealing with the kids returning home as adults to once again deal with Pennywise the Clown, arguably one of the author's truly most frightening creations.
