If The HULK's Fate Remains The Same At The End Of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

If The HULK's Fate Remains The Same At The End Of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Yes, Kevin Feige and others did make clear that the Hulk will not be teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and that there will not be a Planet Hulk film, but what if he still does head out into space? Hit the jump to check out my latest theory on where I believe the Hulk will be in phase 3!

The Incredible Hulk has been the topic of discussion's lately and people have been wondering, what's up with the Hulk in Phase 3? Well let's not waste no time and let me get right into it!

NOTE: Some of the things I am about to say may be considered SPOILERS for some so if you don't wanna know leave now!

So at the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron we know two things (If Drew Mcweeny of HitFix sources are correct):

1. The Incredible Hulk

Banner continues to play a key role in things in this movie, and when the final war with Ultron spills onto the battlefield and out of the virtual realm, he has a major part to play. Unfortunately, that ends with him onboard a Quin jet on his way off the planet, with no way to immediately turn things around. He's going to have to ride out the trip. It's pre-programmed and he can't stop it.

2. Thor 3 Plot

More importantly, if my sources are correct, the end of "Age Of Ultron" sets up a difficult situation for Thor as Midgard and Asgard find themselves looking at a possible war. Could we be looking at the beginning of Ragnarok, brought on by Loki in the guise of Odin? Could the third film find Thor having to fight against the realm that he's spent so much time defending?

Hmm, so if it is true that Hulk is heading out into space, the Guardians of the Galaxy aren't the only people we know that's out there! It's our fellow Avenger Thor! So here's we're my theory comes in!

At the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron if Banner/Hulk is somewhere out in space I beleive Thor will make a promise to go and find him and return him to Midgard. He'll head back to Asgard to find out that Odin (Loki) is planning on taking control of or maybe even destoying Midgard which would mean we are in for RAGNAROK!  (Something in that context)

Tom Hiddleston described Ragnarok as not being the end of the world but "It's the end of time, and the universe, and space. And I think, if I am correct... Loki essentially, sets that in motion. And his motivation for doing so is intriguing and he almost becomes the incarnation of chaos, in a way...So I think that can be quite new." Tom is right! Loki has set Ragnarok in motion because it only
occurs when the All-Father is killed. Director of Thor: The Dark World Alan Taylor and Anthony Hopkins (Odin) confirms that Odin was killed.

Now that Loki has killed the All-Father, knowing him he would possibly want to destroy every realm so he could be the ruler of them all! But how would he do this? This is where the Hulk comes in! While the Hulk/Banner is floating around in space he would be seen by Heimdall which would make him alert Odin/Loki. Upon finding this out Odin/Loki will immedialty bring Banner/Hulk to Asgard as a prisoner. Does this sound fimiliar? Well it should becuase this is simlilar to what happend in the animated direct to video movie Hulk Vs Thor. In Hulk Vs Thor, Hulk was the closest one to bring the world universe to Ragnarok.

It could be very simliar in the film. Inparticularly by splitting the Hulk and Banner into two separate beings. Loki mind controlling the Hulk and using him as his warrior to destroy the realms and Thor will have to fight the against the Hulk and protect Bruce at the same time. If Loki sends the Hulk to attack earth we could possibly see some elements of World War Hulk.

In the end I believe (like the Ragnarok story in the comics) that Thor will die in this film only to be brung back to life by DNA replicating OR having his soul revived. I believe that the Hulk and Banner may stay split and go there seperate ways. Banner returnng to earth while the Hulk goes to Planet Skaar returning with his Sakaaran friends in Avengers 3 to help fight Thanos. The split will help build on the relationship between the Hulk and Banner as Mark Ruffalo describes it as, Bruce being afriad of the Hulk as the Hulk is afriad of Bruce.

This is just the outline, nothing major I really thought into. What do you think? Would you like to see this story happen on film? Thumbs up and sound off below!
