@jj2112 - A movie like that is right up his alley. He's good at balancing great comedy with great action.

@jj2112 - Peyton Reed deserves it more, he's a huge fan and he's made two entertaining Ant-Man movies. A guy who can make Ant-Man interesting can surely do something amazing with FF.

@soberchimera - I refinery hope it’s not Peyton. Ant Man 1 was pretty bland, but the moments with edgar wright’s Influence was great.

The second one is definitely bottom tier MCU too.

@jj2112 - I came here to write literally the same thing. He'd be a pretty safe choice. My top pick for them though was always JJ Abrams, as I feel his Star Trek movies were pretty close in tone to what a great FF movie could be.

@soberchimera - Nah. I like his Ant-Man movies but they can be way better and I don't think he can deliver a great movie. FF needs a great movie after all the subpar and bad films made about them.

The fantastic four is Peyton Reed’s passion project. He was attached to that old screen play back in the day that was too expensive to make. You can still find the screen play online. The opening act is really good set in the 60s they battled the Mole Man’s minions as their origin is told in flashback.

If they didn't stick with Jon Watts or don't for Spider-Man 3, I think he would knock it out of the park.

Nowhere in the article does he say he's open to anything. Who writes this shit? I need to find a new site for news, with less click baity headlines.

Wait a minute. Why are we acting as if they can do Iron Man 4 in the first place? We all know what happened to Tony. This makes me feel like RDJ will be back then.

Iron Man 4. Or maybe Spider-Man 3 (if he is in the film as Happy, too)
