Bruce Timm should atleast produce this. I know animation is different than live action, but he's been on fire with animation, and I'd love him to transition to help with DCmovieverse.

There a good chance that WB will hire Goyer for the job. I really doubt that MOS will bomb at the box office. They probably team him up with J.Nolan. Not my first choice but still ... It's better than go for c movie writer.

Sad....seems like no one wants this. In the right hands it could be amazing but I was thinking that bealls script of what everyone said it was comprised of sounded a lot like transformers 3 and the avengers mixed .... Doom was amazing and I think a storyline like that would work and be more unique

Just because something has already been done before doesn't mean it can't be done in a new, refreshing way.

There have been many stories and characters reinterpreted thousands of times and some of them do work.

The Avengers wasn't the first superhero team movie and it won't be the last.

Guys, they haven't said, and it seems like JLA will be its own movie, leading to solo films. Man of Steel's Superman will hopefully appear, but other the that it seems like it will be its own film leading to spin offs.

Well, to be fair, Thor is based on a god from Norse mythology, so alot of people knew who he was. Captain America is about as old as Batman and Superman even though his popularity faded after WWII. Iron Man was a C-list character until the movie came out and became as popular as Spider-Man.

However, I do agree with nobody outside of the geek community caring about Black Widow and Hawkeye. But once The Avengers came out and did wonders at the box office, it's safe to say that the general public knew who they were to an extent.

I like the DCAU, I really do, but are you guys seriously asking WB to get animation writers to pen a 250 million dollar movie?!!

Are you guys nuts!!! Wow, why not just dump 250 million dollars into the ocean because that would be a smarter use of that money.

The last time WB got a comic writer and some animation/TV writers to work on one of their movies we got Green Lantern! Give this shit to David Goyer and Duncan Jones already!

@ Paragon - Iron Man was a D-Lister, IMHO. I only knew him from his crappy animated series, but I couldn't tell you what Iron Man's secret ID was if you asked me prior to 2008.

@ Paragon79 - Unless you followed Marvel comics, I doubt you knew who Iron Man is if you were born in the 90s. I think he made an appearance in Spider-Man the Animated Series, but I'm not sure.
