Before Warner Bros.' current shared DC cinematic universe got underway with Man of Steel, Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller attempted to bring his own take on DC's finest to the screen with Justice League Mortal.
The film was ultimately scrapped, but we have seen several pieces of concept art and a few costume test images in the years since. Now, DC Films Hub has debuted our first look at actor DJ Cotrona (G.I. JOE: Retaliation) wearing the outfit he would have appeared in as Superman.
As you can see, Cotrona is sporting the classic curl and bright red and blue color-scheme, but it looks like this costume would also have ditched the red trunks/boots combo that many fans missed in Henry Cavill's incarnation.
