JUSTICE LEAGUE Photographer Clay Enos Says What Happened To The Movie Was A "Terrible Wrong"

Clay Enos was a staple of the DC Extended Universe, taking some incredible behind the scenes photos and character portraits. Now, he's weighed in on the much talked about "Snyder Cut" of Justice League.

Clay Enos frequently collaborated with Zack Snyder in the DC Extended Universe and took many of the photographs we've seen from Justice League. Now, the photographer has weighed in on the "Snyder Cut" of that movie and while he didn't provide any specifics about what it might have entailed, he did express his disappointment with the way things panned out for it.

"This is going to go down in film history as some sort of terrible wrong that can be righted, creatively," he explained. "But what culture has to emerge for that to happen is something we need to work towards. We need to prioritize this sort of auteur filmmaker world and that hasn’t been [happening] of late."

"So all of us need to support films that have the auteur’s mark on them. Let’s move gradually towards where the bottom line and the box office isn’t the headline."

Enos makes some valid points here and had Warner Bros. not been so worried about making a movie that could earn as much money as possible (the shorter running time was to get it into as many screens as possible) and executive bonuses, we could have ended up with the cut of Justice League which should have been. As things stand, though, the movie flopped regardless.
