I've got the feeling that for all the hate Snyder gets, Justice League may have been his best effort in the DC films universe if he has been left alone. Unfortunately, that was never meant to be. The irony.

It'd be in WB/DC's best interest - I believe - to release an "extended/director's cut" of the film with as much of Snyder's original material added to the Whedon cut. As WB has likely parted ways with Snyder, I could be wrong, I don't see them amicably coming together and working with Snyder to finish post-production on any of his heavy CGI scenes that did not already get some work. Rather, scenes with minimal to no CGI could likely be added to the film. I hope WB/DC listens and releases such a cut for us to check out.

@VicSage - Oh am sure there will be cut after cut after cut for this movie. WB bosses got dollar signs in their eyes.
That is the only reason I can see why WB chopped this movie more than a chef dices his carrots.
I hate it when DVDs come out with bonus footage. I refuse to watch em cos it not canon anyway. If the makers of the film deemed the theatrical version good enough that I already paid my hard earned money for then that’s what I watch. For better or worse.

@Unavailable - If its bad when I see it in cinema. Then I just don’t get Blue Ray not paying again for extra scenes that they didn’t find good enough to put in the movie I see at the cinema that costs more money.
Before I get called DCU hater. I am like this for ALL movies CBS and otherwise. Annoys the heck out of me.
Concept art articles give me similar emotions.
So what they got different designs. They made the decision what they wanted. Don’t want to see concept art that looks better than what I got to see in final version. They went with what they went with.
Sorry for rant Vic Sage. Had to vent. Not against you though.

@VicSage - his 'best effort in the DC films universe'? Did you see the snooze-fest that was Steppenwolf? No, his best effort was MOS and it went downhill from there.

@VicSage - well WB and Snyder better work it out soon. He's a producer on WW2 and will be attending the Oscars should the film receive a Best Picture Nomination as one of the films producers.

He's just not a good fit for Justice League. Put him in the Justice League Dark Universe and those movies will be better than the current DCEU. Those characters aren't as well known as Batman and Superman. WB won't know what to do so he could have more control

The second guy on the bottom left looks more like Aquaman than Momoa.

LOL....as if the addition of the Atlantis soldiers were going to help. This movie wasn't bad, per se. It just wasn't anything special nor was it good.

To the average movie-goer, the Avengers, were a collection of superheros who banded together to fight a bigger enemy and help save the world.

However, for the Justice League, to the average movie-goer, it was a band of costume freaks who were fighting flying insects and a big alien guy who looked liked billy-goat. That's the story Snyder was trying to tell. That's the story he mostly made. These scenes and perhaps others that we will soon know more of would have probably made the movie worse both in story or box office sales. People are overthinking this.

@Vanquisher - Seeing Atlanteans fight Parademons would have been awesome.

Another deleted scene discussed about in this movie. Jason’s been doing the same thing. It’s like they’re saying “yeah the movie wasn’t great but listen to this deleted scene that we did which could’ve made the movie better! You may never see it but think about what could’ve been!”. It’s pretty exhausting actually. The movie was ok. I enjoyed it but nothing special at all even though it should be being their team up movie.

Atlantean Soldiers look cool as hell.

Seems James Wan is changing their look from the Polynesian aesthetic, which makes sense

We will see Synder's version in some form...the demand is too great and WB needs the revenue.

@newmutantsRETURNS - nope, it would cost millions, and it would take a long time to finish the vfx. check the most recent JL article. also, The demand isn't THAT great.

@BloodyBed - true, but the original screenplay is another play they can use.

I feel bad for all the people who went through makeup, costume fitting, sweaty days on a set being told to do ridiculous things, psyching yourself up to the point where you can actually act like you are doing these silly things seriously, only to not even show up in the film.
