Oh my stars and garters I’m so relieved I’ve learnt this. Don’t need that avengers4 trailer now.

Life is good 😊😊

@AFriendFromWork - Lol. I'll bet he's pissed though that he did all that working out for no reason.

@RocknRolla - He didn't work out for that role I particular. Simmons just looks after himself and works out.

He would've been good under the right writing, dude's an amazing actor. I hope we get a full Batman reboot under Reeves.

Anyways, if you want to see more of J.K. Simmons his show Counterpart returns for season 2 next month. Season 1 was pretty good.

Well, this is a relief if it means they aren't making a sequel, but it's a damn shame that he was one of the very few good things about this franchise. JKS was a great casting choice, unlike Batman, Wonder Woman, and Flash. I'm not too convinced about Aquaman either, but at least his movie looks awesome, so far.

@Atomicockroach - Gal is great as Wonder Woman and Ben had the potential to be a great Batman.

But I’m with you on Flash, and I really hope Momoa brings it with Aquaman, but his turn in JL left a lot to be desired.

@Atomicockroach - WW was great, and Ben was best thing in BvS.

@DTor91 - I completely disagree. Gal was a terrible casting choice. She has none of Wonder Woman's characteristics. Patty did what she could with her but even she admitted Gal would never have been her choice. Affleck is a likeable actor, but also shares none of Batman's characteristics or mannerisms except that in a few comic book depictions, Batman has a cleft chin. Honestly, I don't understand Momoa's casting choice either, but the movie's visuals are so awesome that I just don't care that they radically changed Aquaman, especially since Aquaman in the comics has always kind of sucked.

@Atomicockroach - How many Aquaman comics have you read? Because from 1962 to the present day, they've been consistently good, if not great!
Atomicockroach
Atomicockroach - 11/26/2018, 9:47 PM
@JonF - The last ten years or so they've really made an effort to make him bad-ass as opposed to silly and hammy, but its still a tough sell for me, because I can still remember some of those corny old comics.

I mean, WB is too busy making Harley Quinn and Black Adam films. Why would they focus on Justice League?

I feel bad for the actors involved with the shared DCU. Working in this universe must be like walking on a frozen lake as you begin to hear the ice cracking beneath you.

@johnnymarr @HelaCipher

Imagine how Ray Fisher feels in all of this. This was his FIRST major foray into Hollywood from theatre. He was hired by DC/WB in Spring 2014, with a promise that he would debut in (a then, 2-part) Justice League in 2016, with his solo Cyborg film (which was a planned backdoor into Teen Titans / Titans) 4-5 years after that.

They've had him strung along for the better part of a decade, and all he has is a few lines in JL to show for it.

He also made all those "Borg Life" shirts for no reason now...

@L0RDbuckethead - Feel bad for the guy. I actually really liked his short scenes in jl. He was oddly menacing. Hope he gets new roles.

@HelaCipher - Same, he was the lone bright spot to me in Justice League. It's a shame we'll never get to see what was going on here:

@L0RDbuckethead - Yeah it sucks. But it's a tough business. I'm sure Fisher also lived in the moment, and enjoyed the process. He got to be a part of something huge and historic, that COULD'VE ended up being iconic and beloved. He gained a lot of fans, and got paid to have fun. And I'm sure he made a decent profit off those BORG LIFE T-Shirts.💰
