At this past weekend's NYC premiere for Batman v Superman: Dawn of justice, Henry Cavill told a group of reporters that he's very excited to start filing Justice League, and singled out Jason Momoa's Aquaman as a character he's especially looking forward to interacting with.
"I'm looking forward to expanding on the DC Cinematic Universe, and finally getting a chance to open up that world. There's a thousand and one rich stories in there. I'm looking very, very forward to interacting with Aquaman, especially!"
What type of relationship do you think Aquaman and Superman will have in the film? Based on appearances, it looks as if the DCEU is going with the grim, no nonsense warrior version of Aquaman that probably has more in common with Wonder Woman than Superman. Although, recent social media snaps of Momoa have revealed that his Aquaman hair appears to be a little more blonder than what was first shown in the promotional photo Zack Snyder revealed last year.
Justice League will star Cavill as Superman, Momoa as Aquaman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Amber Heard will also appear as Mera, Queen of Atlantis.
