SPOILERS: Does The Flash's Message In BATMAN v SUPERMAN Make Sense After Seeing JUSTICE LEAGUE?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice featured a glimpse at an apocalyptic future and a dire warning from a time-travelling Flash but does the Caped Crusader's Knightmare make sense in Justice League?

When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released, the plan was for Justice League to be a two-part movie. Rumour has it that the first instalment would have ended with a huge Darkseid related cliffhanger and there have been rumblings that Zack Snyder intended to keep the Man of Steel evil for the vast majority of Justice League, thereby setting up his full-on return as a hero in the sequel.

If he had stayed under the influence of that Mother Box, would we have ultimately wound up with Batman's Knightmare vision becoming a reality? Quite possibly but with that no longer the case, does the Flash's message to Bruce Wayne make any sense after watching Justice League this weekend?

Yes and no. The Flash is still too early with his warning but he's making it clear to Batman that he was right about Superman (probably because he came back evil) and that the only way to fix that is via Lois Lane. Bruce does, of course, ultimately use The Daily Planet Journalist to get the Man of Steel to regain his senses so an argument can be made that the scene below kinda, sorta makes sense. I guess!

It's a shame we'll never get to see what Snyder had planned but an evil Superman probably wasn't what anyone wanted and Justice League handled the character well even if he had a dodgy CGI jaw. What do you think? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
