Last week, we ran a giveaway for an awesome Alex Ross Liberty and Justice: Trinity premium art print from Sideshow Collectables, and we've now selected a winner for the limited edition lithograph!

When the Liberty and Justice: Trinity premium art print/lithograph was announced for pre-order by Sideshow Collectibles, we knew we had to get one. After taking a look at it today we decided to order another print (unframed) for one lucky CBMer!

Alex Ross! He's an amazing artist and a severe smart ass! I have a great Chicago Con story of him back in 1994 or 1995 (I think)! I was standing in line to have him sign my Marvels and Kingdom Come comics as well as my Kingdom Come poster. I arrived early and he hadn't arrived yet. I was roughly 15th-20th in line. About 10-15 minutes later it was getting close to his signing. I got a tap on my right shoulder. I turned to the man and he asks, "Who are you waiting for?" I said, "Alex Ross!" He said, "Oh cool!" and walked past me and went and sat down and started signing. It was freaking Alex Ross! The first time I'd ever seen him in person. When it was my turn to get a signature I asked him, "You think you're a smart guy don't you?" (All in jest). He replies, "Well you know!" He's a great guy though!

I'm not one of those guys that can just rattle off artists names, but Alex Ross is my favorite comic artist of all time. Kingdom Come, the stuff he did for the Marvels series, all definitive versions of my favorite heroes(and villains) with a vintage flavor.

@BruceParker - I'm afraid to admit I'm the same. Alex Ross, Jack Kirby, Michael Turner and Jim Lee (because I met him once at SDCC with my boys) are the only ones I really know by name and style.
