Zack Snyder is also responsible for scenes like this:

Not sure why anyone's surprised.

@MasterMix - What's wrong with this scene? He is just being romantic. Are you saying that movies should go back to the 50s where men and women have to sleep in separate beds and they can't touch each other? This is pathetic really.

The only scene that is wrong is the one where flash falls on Wonder Woman's chest. That was made with lewd in mind and not something organic. Other than that, get over it. People need to chill! One thing is to respect women (which we all should do), another is to thing that everything offensive.

@MasterMix - this is literally what i was just about to comment about. it's not like Zach knows how to do relationship chemistry with any subtlety at all. cavill and adams had ZERO chemistry

@colonel179 - Given Whedon's current predicament it's opens season I guess.

@noahthegrand - I mean, I guess Supes can blow his clothes dry in a second, but flooding the floor is kinda douchey to do to the downstairs neighbors, but this IS Zack Snyder's version of "Superman". 😉

Everyone just schitting on Whedon like he was the one that fired Snyder and hired himself.

@slickrickdesigns - yeah whedon really wasn't the problem. He was coming in in the 11th hour on a film made by a very distinct film maker, given barely any money to just add some reshoots to make the story simpler and funnier. The theatrical cut was a studio mandate, not any individuals vision. I'd figure a whedon justice league would be vastly different that what we got had he been able to just start from scratch on the film.

@Origame - a Whedon Justice League film made by Whedon probably would’ve looked way different and character arcs would’ve been way different.
But hey let’s all hate Whedon because he was sexist, racist and unapologetic about the way he ruined Snyder’s vision.

@slickrickdesigns - well, its not always easy to look past a film makers horrible mistakes.

@slickrickdesigns - He didnt ruin Snyder's vision. We got most of it on the screen a few years ago.

@Origame - well... Stanley Kubrick treated Shelly Duvall like crap and got her best performance ever with the shining.
Micheal Bay wasn’t cool to Martin Lawrence while making Bad Boys but that’s arguably Lawrence’s best movie.
James Cameron was hard to work with filming the abyss as he would yell at his actors and kind of torture them on set.
Whedon didn’t do anything new and he didn’t pull a Brian Singer or Harvey Weinstein. I think people need to get over his bad behavior and start asking why a studio would sabotage their own big budget film.

@slickrickdesigns - yeah but most of them probably wouldn't last with today's standards.

Enjoyed the overall portrayal of Bruce in the Snyder Cut. He seemed less like the butt of jokes here.

@ModHaterSLADE - I agree, he had trouble holding his own in the Whedon cut, he's more badass in Snyder's
Itwasme
Itwasme - 4/30/2021, 12:22 PM
@ModHaterSLADE - really? I personally felt Bruce suffered a lot in Snyder's version. In Whedon's cut he was a detective who figured out something was going on, whereas in Snyder's he just believed something was going to happen. In Whedon's Bruce's motivation to bring back Superman was all about how he felt to fight this threat, they needed a leader who he himself couldn't be. In Snyder's it was just about how Superman is really strong. There's a lot more layer and nuance to Whedon's Bruce and I think outside of Superman he was the character that was improved the most - by a longshot.

@ModHaterSLADE - "seemed less like the butt of jokes" means in the snyder cut he is still the butt of jokes, just less so. Good call. Not perfect in either. Gotta say Whedon had to work with Snyder's base materials so he was only going to do so much with it.

@Itwasme @ModHaterSLADE - I think the best and worst stuff for Batman in JL was in Whedon's cut. There's nothing as terrible in ZSJL as "Yup, definitely bleeding..." but nothing as good as "He was more human than me ... The world needs Superman and the team needs Clark." He was just kinda there honestly.
Itwasme
Itwasme - 5/1/2021, 9:31 AM
@DalekCraigWasson - yep, not a great line, though I do find it ironic that Whedon actually added more continuity with Zach's previous films. Still I'd rather have good characterization and deal with a bad line or a few. Batman's smart, that's the thing that made him bad ass, Snyder not once made him appear that way in this film. Whedon at least explains his actions so they are based on logic and his own detective work.
