Because we all know R ratings make movies better.

There’s NO REASON for a Justice League movie to be rated R.

@LameLuka - I know the Flashpoint movie was pg13 despite Mera getting decapitated. Animated ratings are bs.

The theatrical cut was on Cartoon Network a few days ago. That’s the type of audience a Justice League movie should try to appeal to. Not a cult.

@JFerguson - Two words. Nipples.

...I mean, Batman & Robin.

@JFerguson - yes, this "cult" of people who dared to...want to see a particular cut of a movie. By your logic, mcu fans are in a cult too.

Also before you point to some random idiot troll online I'd like to remind you of all the the snydercut "cultists" who donated to charities to point out clearly those random idiot trolls are in the minority.

I can guarantee that, if these were people trying to see an alternate cut of endgame, you wouldn't bat an eye at any of this. This is purely because they want to see a movie you don't. Get over yourself.

@Origame - They didn't donate to charity, they raised money to offer to WB to release whatever unaired footage there was. It went to charity (and billboards and banners during SDCC) after WB declined.
Origame
Origame - 2/3/2021, 10:23 AM
@Reeds2Much - ...that's still them taking money and giving it to charity.

@Origame - About as much as prisoners picking up trash on the highway makes them Environmentalists.
Origame
Origame - 2/3/2021, 12:28 PM
@Reeds2Much - ...OK, I'm gonna need some explanation here. How do you define "giving to charity" if the act of giving money to a charity organization doesn't count? Also, with the prisoner analogy, do you believe they were forced to do that?
Reeds2Much
Reeds2Much - 2/3/2021, 12:44 PM
@Origame - if the act of giving money to a charity organization

They didn't give money to a charity is the point. They gave money to buy footage. Someone else took that money then gave it to charity. Most lawbooks would call that embezzlement.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice most of the money went to a good cause. It just shouldn't get used as if it were a noble act, or as an excuse to misbehave. It wasn't, and it isn't. It was a PR stunt, one that has a long history of working.

Hail Zorp.

@Reeds2Much - ...no. that's not what happened. Like at all. https://www.cinemablend.com/news/2489001/justice-leagues-snyder-cut-campaign-has-raised-a-ton-of-money-for-charity

Also, what misbehavior? Considering the star wars fans have been bullying actors off Twitter, they're not really that bad outside of just being really passionate.

And f@#$ off with that pr bs. You don't know they did this for that reason and f@#$ you for even thinking of using that to dismiss this. This "pr stunt" has saved lives. This act alone has done more for the world than you ever have.
