The story centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. Things change when he eventually runs into real bad guys with real weapons.

Nicolas Cage will play a former cop who wants to bring down a drug lord and has trained his daughter to be a lethal weapon.

[frick] YES! Looks [frick]ing awesome. The first clip of the guy smashing into the car was hilarious! Everyone claps then...OH NO! splat!

2nd was even better Nic Cage (Big Daddy) shooting Hit girl in the chest! Cage looks like he's actually acting again.

Cannot wait for this movie, really cant come out soon enough.

anyway this looks really awesome, one of my most anticipated films for next year. i hope Sony picks it up.

Wow, this movie looks awesome, can't wait...I wonder if this'll actually spark more "real life" vigilantism, not that stupid crap we've been seeing on here of dumb kids dressing up and helping the homeless, i mean some rorschach/batman type vigilantism

I know nothing about this book except from everybody talking about it on here. It really sounds interesting. I am not a bandwagon buy either. So, I hope I am not let down when I see the movie.

If anyone has not read these stories do yourselves a favor and track 'em down. Most every issue has gone into multiple printings, but I dont know how easy they are to get a hold of still.

It looks good but I sure hope Nicholas Cage's head doesnt decide to burst into flames at any point or I will be out of the cinema so fast! lol (even though I actually sorta liked him in Ghost Rider, I know you can hit me now lol)

But Kick-Ass along with the awesome Iron Man 2 and Jonah Hex (which we still havent got any clips of) is gonna make 2010 a badass year! Now if only the writers strike had not happened, maybe there could have been an Ant-Man movie coming out next year too but nevermind! We still got some brilliant movies coming out

how come shit like chun lee and dragonball can get a distributor but this movie cant. with all the shit that comes out of hollywood these days i figured anyone with an idea and bottle of booze can get a distributor.

Don't make it racist dude. There were "white stoners" there too. It's just stereotypes. "Black Gangsters" are a stereotype. Plus you didn't see what happened earlier in the movie and what they may have done to deserve it, so don't knock it yet.
