The great thing is that many of these people probably aren’t too far away from their debut, either on D+ or the movies :)

@PicolasCage - Marvel didn't even have the rights to MOST of these characters until the past year. Is it really surprising we haven't seen them yet?

@CorndogBurglar - I never said it’s surprising... I said it’s great that now we’re probably not too far away from seeing them.

Anything and everything is on the drawing board. It's only a matter of when.

One thing that I think that people forget is that Feige is probably not much of a Bendis fan. That's not to say that he dislikes the man or his writing, but rather that his tastes were set long before Bendis started writing for Marvel.

Fans whose main impression of Marvel is from the year 2000 onward probably weigh the importance of various characters far differently than guys like Feige. Marvel comics put a lot of effort, following the X-men movie, into adapting their own characters into versions that would be easily translated into films, but the guys making the films like Feige are more interested in doing their own adaptations of the characters and concepts that they already liked.

Hence, I don't think that it's all that surprising that characters like Spider-woman (a minor character that happened to be a Bendis favorite), Sentry, Red Hulk and the like haven't been a priority so far. Most of the others here are/were tied up in rights issues that make them less attractive to use.

Of the newer stuff from Marvel Comics, it's not surprising that the cinema side has been attracted to stuff that isn't already represented on screen.

Spider-Man was just brought into the MCU and you can't believe they haven't introduced Miles or Spider-Woman yet? lol.

Norman on the other hand, absolutely. The fact that they haven't even mentioned Oscorp yet is a huge fail.

Off-topic: man, you know a studio doesn’t give a shit about its movie when they let such a huge grammar error make it onto their poster.

Hopefully Norman will be referenced or even make an appearance in Spider-Man 3, setting up the Green Goblin in the future.

I hope use Kang the Conqueror as the main antagonist in a Young Avengers movie/D+ show.

Captain Britain should appear in Excalibur - a spinoff of X-Men.

Beta Ray Bill is the only one on this list I agree with. The fact that we got through a Thor trilogy without him is surprising especially since they already used Surtur in Ragnarok

They really, really need to focus on developing and boosting their villains. To me that's the number one priority. I liked Civil War just fine, and I was sympathetic to the villain, it just felt a little lacking in that department. There are other examples I could give but you get the idea.

@ChrisRed - I was going to! I was worried people would pile on that she was too shallow or hammy but I loved Hela. Perfect villain for that movie, Blanchett killed it.
