AVENGERS Cast, DC, Fox, Sony And More Pay Tribute To The Late Stan Lee With A Series Of Posters

As the entertainment world still mourns the passing of the legendary Stan "The Man" Lee, more tributes have poured in from the likes of 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, and the original six Avengers...

Legendary Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95 this past Monday, and since then tributes have been pouring in from all corners of the entertainment industry. Now, we have a series of personal messages from those that worked most closely with "The Man" over the years.

The six posters below are featured in the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine, and they further serve to highlight what an inspiration Lee was for so many people, whose lives were enriched by his enduring creations.

Check 'em out below, and please feel free to share your own tributes with us in the comments. Excelsior!

The Cast Of The Avengers

Some of these guys have shared their own separate tributes already, but this first poster highlights a group message from the main cast of the first Avengers movie, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner.

Disney

Lee worked closely with The Walt Disney Company and Marvel Studios for years, making cameo appearances in many of their co-productions. Their tribute takes the form of a very nice pencil sketch of The Generalissimo himself

Fox

Another studio that had many dealings with Stan over the years was 20th Century Fox, who own (well, owned) the rights to one of his most popular creations, the mutant super-team known as The X-Men.

DC Entertainment

Though obviously best known for his work with Marvel, Lee actually co-wrote a series of comics for DC in the early 2000s. Here, the rival publisher recognizes "The Man" as a true comic book visionary.

Margaret Loesch

This one is from former Marvel Productions’ President and CEO Margaret Loesch, who shares a touching remembrance of her “friend, mentor and colleague" of 38 years.

Sony Pictures

And finally, we have a tribute from Sony Pictures, who first brought arguably Lee's most famous character to the big screen. Their poster features an image of the iconic Spider-Man shedding a single tear.
