Wow! What a packed week it was. Not only did we get our first look at The Avengers assembled, but we also witnessed Green Lantern being panned by critics left, right and center. Find out below, which of the more popular articles you missed this week.

The Avengers:
This is probably the biggest scoop of the week. DCMarvelFreshman was able to get a preview look at The Avengers assembled, which was displayed at the International Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. Besides Thor, Iron Man, and Black Widow, the new promo poster features a first look at Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Jeremy Renner is his Hawkeye outfit, and Chris Evans in his updated Captain America costume. Furthermore Mark Ruffalo confirmed via Twitter, that The Avengers will not be shot in 3D.

The Dark Knight Rises:
Even Christoper Nolan's final Batman installment, had some news for us this week. CBM's Comedian03, was able to get a glimpse at what seemed to be the first look at the film's logo, and confirmed that Josh Stewart was set to join the cast.

With 35 more days to go, Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger is slowly picking up steam, when it comes to marketing the film. Apart from getting an awesome retro poster this week, we also got two detailed description of the second trailer, which was screened at the HeroComplex Film Festival. Furthermore DCMarvelFreshman & Josh Wilding were able to get a hold of a good amount of new images and new footage, from the motion picture. Plus, the official Captain America: The First Avenger Website has been updated, and offers a whole lot of new feature

Man Of Steel:
It's been a while since we've heard something new about Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman rebootMan Of Steel. However at the International Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Warner Bros had put up, what seemed to be a promotional banner for the Superman reboot. It's uncertain wether or not it's an official banner. However what's certain, is that Zack Snyder upcoming project is up and running. Just 1 day after the banner hit the web, the working title for the film was revealed to be "Autumn Frost", and it was reported that Russell Crowe was in negotiations, for a major role in the film.

Green Lantern:
With 22% on Rotten Tomatoes, it doesn't look like, Martin Campbell's Green Lantern will rule the summer box office. Sadly for the moment the movie is taking a lot of heat from film critics. However even though the film is being panned for the moment, Mark Strong gave some hints for the after credit scene of the film.
