2012 was a remarkable year for comic book movies. Each of these films below had at least one amazing battle scene. We had Joss Whedon's The Avengers finally hitting the big screen, and breaking all kinds of box office records. Most importantly, the film had a lot of fight sequences, so below are top three: Hulk battling Thor, Iron Man versus Thor and The Avengers taking on the Chitauri in one awesome tracking shot. Then we saw Christopher Nolan's conclusion of his Batman trilogy with The Dark Knight Rises, and fans saw a clash between Batman and Bane in two great scenes (sewer and City Hall). Next up, the Marc Webb-directed reboot The Amazing Spider-Man, which featured a fantastic fight scene in high school between Spidey and the Lizard. Pete Travis' Dredd didn't exactly set the box office on fire, but it was very well received from critics and fans. The film had some brilliant scenes, but one in particular is the "Slo-Mo" scene, where Dredd and Anderson enter the room and all hell breaks loose. Then there is Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Fans hoped that this will be at least a solid take on the character, but everyone ended up being disappointed. But, there are a few cool scenes in the film, such as the crane sequence below and that whole fight between Ghost Rider and the thugs. We also had some CBM-related films which featured some rather awesome scenes, such as Chronicle's big fight in the city and John Carter's emotional and great-looking battle with the Warhoons. Vote below:

1. CHRONICLE:

2. GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE:

3. JOHN CARTER:

4. MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS:

5. MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS:
