if anybody votes speedracer, its not funny, k guys? You're not being clever by picking what is obviously an inferrior movie to every other one on the list, and no matter what you say, you KNOW, deep down, that it really was truly aweful. Nothing can justify you clicking that. Nothing. So all of you who voted for that, thinking you were witty, you can now wallow in the steaming mire of your own insufferable immiturity. Noob.

amjac1? are you talking about me? I haven't even voted, is that the image everyone has of me? that I would vote Speed Racer to wallow in the steaming mire of my own insuferable immaturity?

Well I'm boicotting the poll. No, I won't vote and except for some DB evolution posts, I like to think that my posts have some valid points that have arguments behind them.

To me Dark Knight is on top, followed by Iron Man. Nothing else should be considered.

Shadowelfz - 12/28/2008, 1:42 AM
amjac1 you cant say things like that. Everybody has their own opinion on what is good and bad and while you (and I for that matter) may think that Speedracer was an awful movie, our opinions are not anymore valid than anyone else's.

I thought TDK was the best because it didn't seem old or anything or it didn't feel like a sequel or anything...it felt like a real continuation of the legacy of batman...and the acting was great, the storyline was great, it was well written, very dramatic, edge-of-your-seat kinda movie (because you'll never know what the Joker will do next) and there is an unexpected event in the movie. I loved the movie and will go pay to see it again when it comes out in theatres this january (even though I already have the DVD lol)

Logan x, u thought the dark knight was a rehash from burtons batman? are you watching movies with your eyes closed and earplugs dude??...then again you did like speed racer!

Dark Knight and Iron man are the only great movies on that list..Hellboy was pretty good, Hulk was Watchable, ...Punisher was meh, havnt seen spirit yet, Wanted and Speed racer sucked ass!

1- Iron Man
2- Dark Knight
3- Incredible Hulk

The dark knight was really good, though personaly I enjoyed iron man more

The Incredible hulk wasn't as interesting, but the fight scenes were amazing

I knew that Dark Knight would be first by a long shot and I figured everything would also fall pretty far behind Iron Man as well. It was obvious. I'm not proud of making such an observation because of the level of obviousness. Hulk and HB2 were awesome too

1The Dark Knight
2Incredible Hulk
3IRONMAN
TDK is a given. I like the incredible hulk alil more then ironman. The main thing I liked bout Ironman was downey jr..other then that the movie seems kinda fast. Its like the Sienfeld episode when he says you yadayadad over the best parts. Like they shouldve gotten more into detail in the creation of the suits. Hulk was solid until the end..the abomination was alil corny not he story jus him talkin.

I have to go with Iron Man because it just seem to accomplished alot even though not alot of people where on board with it from the begging, lot of fans had their doubts from the begging that slowly came to.
So thats why Iron Man is my choice.
As for The Dark Knight as good as it was I seemed to only enjoy certain parts of it. And Christian Bales voice was one of those things.

Troy what more would you have wanted in Tony Stark creating his suit? I thought they did just enough with out boring everyone. He had the material, the blue prints, and it showed him working with it piece by piece. It's not like he said, "Well I'm gonna build a suit now," and then it flashed to a scene of him flying in it.

speed racer was cool, a little boring but all the colors and the true cartoon feel was such a nice change from all the boring "reality".... sure it was slow and they screwed us on the theme song and the music but it was sweet as candy that you would eat but wouldnt buy. The Dark night left me wanting =more batman scenes depicting how arial and cool BAT MAN really is as the thing people fear..(oh and that strength enhancing wrist quard would serve better as a HellBoy Jack Off stimulator, hell if it could tear the side of a van i am sure it could help HB tear one of too!.... Hey Chris Nolan, Peddle yer useless military wears someone where else! And show me some Gaw Damned Bat styled Ninja Flippery if ya wouldn't mind. And at least refferrence the damned graysons! Part 3? no robin!!!).. even if you are a good guy, you should still get an icy chill from being in his prescence ... that to me is why Chris Nolan sucks mid january steamin donkey bawls. Hulk was fereakin awesome and i am gonna watch it again right now. GREEN BAWLS to all ya'll!!!(with all due respect) BatMan RULES !!!

THE DARK KNIGHT
INCREDIBLE HULK
IRON MAN

^ In that order. Iron man was good..but they didnt really follow Iron man's origins. Afghanistan? Still a good movie...but Iron man was not created in afghanistan. lol Incredible Hulk was awesome...but isnt it about time the US government to realize that you cant destory the hulk with missles and tanks? lol...I mean thats like watch Godzilla over and over...and waiting for the Japanese to get smart about this kind stuff...You cant take out the BIG GREEN MACHINE!

The Dark KNIGHT < FLAWLESS....they took a comic and they turned it serious. All thanks to Warner Brothers and Christopher Nolan. Warner Brothers never lets me down. I hope TDK gets an oscar....its being relased again JAN IMAX 3d! woot woot!

Hey NOOBMIKE, take it easy bro. There are other meanings to Noob. Even tho that was an opinionated statement by AMJAC1, i don't think it was meant towards you. Should've spelled it n00b.

Anyways, can't see how the list could be in any other order than this.

1. The Dark Night
2. Iron Man
3. Hulk
4. Wanted

Everything else, to me, pretty much blew. Just my .02

Iron Man was the best movie. Simply because everyone knew that Christian Bale was a great Batman but Robert Downey Jr. is someone I thought was gonna be a terrible Tony Stark. But he was awesome. Both the Dark Knight and Iron Man were great but Iron Man wins by a repulsar ray.
Mankind
Mankind - 12/29/2008, 9:41 AM
man i can't even fathom why you people are even rating the hulk... it was a bad movie.. don't even give credit to marvel for that POS i mean F*@K they let norton write a draft of the script... they were givin the movie away to anybody who wanted it. IRON MAN on the other had was good because Rob Downey Jr plays a kick ass Stark but i felt it ended alittle too quickly plus he got too much face time.. i just wantted to see that kick ass suit in more action.

TDK ALL THE WAY!!

Im with rorschach01 here logan-x i really think you should watch Speed racer again.. just to see how bad it really was.. i mean even for a kids movie. and dude this is a forum site where people get to write what they think and what they care about.. don't get all sooky if someone doesn't agree with you..

ok so in the untouchables robert de nero is sitting around a table with a load of mobsters and he bashes one of their heads in with a baseball bat..is burtons batman copying that?? Dude the similarities in some of those scenes are purely coincidental, i doubt nolan even watched burtons movie before starting production, they are as different as Hulk and sin city. the characters just happen to have the same names.

and mankind is right, when i disagree with you or have a bit of fun about your taste in movies i dont mean any offence..im just saying why i dont like it..its up to you to either debate me or dont

and by the way, the joker slams the guys eye into the pencil in that scene

Speed Racer. Wow, I don't really have to say much about that now do I? No. Why? Because it's freakin' SPEED RACER. They made a movie about it...Wow, I bet that was really bad. Like the cartoon. Really bad. Never had any interest in the movie, it didn't even remind of the cartoon. It reminded me of a HORRIBLE LSD trip mixed with a bad experience playing "Quantum Redshift" on XBox (which is, BTW, one of the WORST racing games ever) It looked appauling and REGARDLESS of what anyone ever says about the movie. I will never see it. I hope to never see the damned cartoon again. I'd much rather watch Bog and Quag dance around the moat of Eureka's Castle. Seriously.

As for the best Comic Book Movie of they year...Who really thought it would be anything but TDK? Seriously? I understand everyone has their favorites, but seriously. In the eyes of the fanbase as a whole (because Batman reaches the BROADEST fanbase in comicbookdom) there is NO competition. I myself, voted for Iron Man, loved it. I'm a big Heath Ledger fan through and through, his performance was spectacular and I do believe he deserves and Oscar for it. HOWEVER, I enjoyed Iron Man more. I thought it was more entertaining as a whole. Great action, CGI, acting wasn't too bad for the most part. Cap's shield, S.H.I.E.L.D., Samuel L as Nick Fury. It was great. So that's where my vote went. Be mad at me all you want, you KNOW Iron Man was a badass movie.

Logan calm down dude, sit in your favorite chair and pour yourself a martini. Seriously, reading what you wrote sounded like:

"Ass holes to the right of them, Ass holes to the left of them, Ass holes in front of them, Volleyed and thunder'd;

Storm'd at with ass and hole, Boldly they rode and well, Into the ass of Death, Into the hole of Hell, Rode the six Ass holes."

If ION was replying to you, he'd say "get the sand out of your pussy". We all have diferent opinions but when you write the words "asshole" and "suck my balls" to someone for having different opinions than yourself, then you just sound like a brotha callin' another brotha black... and that ain't cool, you dig?
IonParallax
IonParallax - 12/30/2008, 11:43 AM
I don't quite think Logan is old enough for a martini SHAMAN. Just my opinion though.

Yes, get the sand...out...of your vagina...Logan.

Awesome soundtrack Shaman. I'm diggin' the lyrics. Puts a good vibe down with the whole argumentative properties of Logan and MANKIND's general high douchery.

Seriously though folks, opinions, HELLO, deal with them because they're not yours to attack. Disagreeing; fine. Outright attacking someones opinion because it differs oh so far from your safe place. Wah. Let go of the blanket, open up your mind and see someones elses opinion for what it truly is; SOMEONE ELSES OPINION.

You all make yourself look gaytarded cursing at each other for no reason, or saying someones opinion is irrelevant or meaningless. If that were truly the case, we wouldn't be here chit-chatting now would we? No.
