Ryan Reynolds Briefly Comments On R.I.P.D. And Deadpool

Speaking with MTV at the press junket for his upcoming movie Safe House, Ryan Reynolds commented briefly on his upcoming comic book movie R.I.P.D. and also reveals whether he's still interested in a Deadpool movie.

Ryan Reynolds Talks Deadpool and R.I.P.D.

"It's an incredible film," he said. "That was a movie I'd been courting for something like five years now. To see that actually happen—that never happens! It never happens that a movie you've been courting for that long actually ends up being shot and produced. It was a beautiful experience. I know that's going to be an amazing movie."

The Dark Horse comic R.I.P.D. is adapted by Universal Pictures with this fantasy crime film focusing on a newly deceased cop (Ryan Reynolds) who's drafted into a squad of zombie cops that battle the supernatural. Red's Robert Schwentke directs, with Jeff Bridges co-starring as his partner and Kevin Bacon playing the villain.

The cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon, Marisa Miller, Robert Knepper and Mary-Louise Parker. R.I.P.D. is set to hit theatres on June 28, 2013!
