Despite being nothing short of incredible, Blade Runner 2049 was not a hit at the box office. There could be any number of reasons for that (those cryptic trailers and the long running time probably didn't help) but the sequel will probably wind up being every bit the cult hit its predecessor was. Regardless, one thing we can all agree on is that Ana De Armas managed to steal the show as Joi.

Now, the actress has posed for Virgin Atlantic's in-flight magazine and you can find the entire gallery of images right here. She looks every bit as stunning as she did as the A.I. we saw in Denis Villeneuve's epic sci-fi masterpiece and we're sure you'll all have no problem coming up with who she could play in the Marvel or DC Universes. So, click either one of the buttons below to check out the photos!

Ana de Armas was raised in Havana, Cuba. She decided to become an actress at age 12 and went on to star in a number of Spanish TV shows and movies before arriving in Hollywood with Knock Knock.

From there, the actress landed roles in movies like Hands of Stone and War Dogs but her biggest role to date came when she was chosen to play Joi in Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049 last year.

'He’s wonderful,' she said. He’s really an amazing partner. 'He’s so talented, and hard-working and professional. And he set the mood on set every day'

Despite delivering a star-making performance in the acclaimed movie, de Armas only has Three Seconds (based on the novel of the same name) on the way in 2018 but surely that will change?

Blockbuster! The action film, currently in theaters, has five Oscar nominations

Blade Runner 2049 may not have been a box office hit (possibly because of the long running time or those cryptic trailers) but studios surely realise that the actress has a bright future ahead of her!

Star struck! The actress sang her praises for her Blade Runner 2049 co-star, Ryan Gosling, in her interview with Vera Magazine

With any luck, we'll see de Armas in a superhero movie in the not too distant future. Who would you like to see her play? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
