<font color=red>EXCLUSIVE:</font> GLASS Star Sarah Paulson Talks About Her Role In The Film's Ending - <font color=red>SPOILERS</font>

I recently got to sit down with Golden Globe & Primetime Emmy-winner Sarah Paulson to discuss all things Glass and in the second part of our chat, she talks about her critical role in the film's finale!

Ahead of the theatrical debut of M. Night Shyamalan's Glass, I was granted an exclusive opportunity to sit down with Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy-winning star Sarah Paulson at the press junket and chat about her game-changing role as Dr. Ellie Staple in the long-awaited conclusion to Shyamalan's Eastrail 177 trilogy.

EXCLUSIVE: GLASS Star Sarah Paulson Talks Entering M. Night's Universe
& James McAvoy's Inspiring Performance

In the second part of our lengthy interview, Paulson tells me more about the film's shocking and heartbreaking conclusion and her role in bringing an end to three of Shyamalan's most popular characters. We also cover a potential sequel and that mysterious alternate ending.

ROHAN PATEL: M. Night Shyamalan is well-known for crafting some of the biggest twists in cinematic history, and this time, your role in this film, as a member of this secret society, is essentially the big twist. Were you aware of Ellie's true intentions from the get-go when you were pitched the character? Or was that something you learned later on during filming?

SARAH PAULSON: Well, all that credit goes to Night because he wrote all the words that I would say to help her be probably the smartest person in the room, arguably next to Elijah, but given how the movie ends you would maybe say thee smartest person in the room.

I was surprised when I got the script because I had been told that, sometimes when he gives you scripts, that the last few pages will be removed or it'll be like you'll have three endings and you won't really know which one he's gonna shoot and you don't know which one is the real ending and he does all these kinds of things just to make sure that nothing gets out.

But, when I got the script everything was there and I saw it and I was sort of honored to be part of the twist, but then there was also a part of me that was heartbroken because I had been so devoted to the universe itself, of his creation, that I felt a little discomfort at being part of the demise of these characters.

ROHAN: Yeah, it's definitely heartbreaking, but I mean it did make sense since he's trying to reflect the world as it really is over some idealistic take that we typically see in superhero movies.

SARAH: Exactly.

ROHAN: At the end, your world also gets exposed when Mr. Glass essentially plays his final trump card. I know Night's said this is the end of his trilogy, but have you had any talks about a potential next chapter? Would you be open to revisiting Ellie?

SARAH: I'd be open to doing anything with him. I really had one of my my best working experiences ever with him and as I said I such an enormous fan that it would be a true honor, of mine, to continue working with him in any capacity whether it was with Dr. Ellie Staple or an entirely new movie.

ROHAN: Sam Jackson recently mentioned an alternate ending for the film, that they scrapped in favor of the theatrical one. Have you heard anything about it? Or can you elaborate any further?

SARAHI don't know about that, that may have happened before I was involved. I'm not sure.

The ending we shot was always the ending. That was always the ending that I knew about. So, I think it's possible, because Sam has been involved in this, obviously, since its inception, there may have been another plan that was hatched, that then was shifted, but I am not wise to that. :

Bruce Willis as David Dunn
James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Horde
