That was pretty intense. JJ Abrams tripled the scope since the previous film. I need to see that 9-minute IMAX preview!

Benedict Cumberbatch was fighting the KLINGON! They are masked like in the 2009 deleted scene.

Man, I am the only one who felt the color palette was a bit too muted? One of the things I loved about the first film were the colors, it had "pop" to it; it looked beautiful to look at. This movie looks depressing. Sorry, I hate to nitpick here especially about an anticipated film like this. Hopefully the storyline is fantastic.

That blonde chick looks like the blonde chick in where no man has gone before...so Gary Mitchell is the villain!

In the Japanese trailer, someone in a blue shirt is behind a glass... an almost Wrath Of Khan moment... Spock dies?

Okay, now I am really, really thinking that Cumberbatch is playing Khan. I mean, come ON-- "for I have returned to have my vengeance"?!? Gary Mitchell never went anywhere! But Khan was exiled from Earth in the late 20th century-- and so it's not unreasonable to assume that he'd have a bit of a grudge against his homeworld.

COME ON, ABRAMS-- JUST TELL US WHO THIS GUY IS ALREADY!!!

Wow! That was epic. It really was. And Cumberbatch? D@mn, man! He really gave off that deep, evil aura to him. I can't wait to see what kind [frick]ed up sh!t he'll cause in this film. So far, 2013 is most definitely shaping up to be a rich CBM filled year. We are so [frick]ing blessed with all of these bad@$$ CBMs. :D

@Farkosuarus, yeah. That effect was cool when Nolan first used it on the Inception trailers, and everyone has ripped it off since. [frick], they even stole the first poster for TDKR and just changed the title to Star Trek. Got some real creative minds out there.

@jrod79 I think it's consistent with the previous film... the sets and story just happen to be darker. I liked the 2009 film because it wasn't all too serious and was leaked brightness... but I think they definitely accomplished what they wanted with this sequel... bring it Into Darkness.
