With the early buzz for Ang Lee's mysterious action/thriller Gemini Man trending positive, Paramount Pictures have begun rolling out the clips and the latest shows off one of the film's wildest action sequences, which features Henry Brogen (Will Smith) engaging in a death-defying motorcycle fight chase against Junior (Will Smith).

The film has been dubbed a technical marvel by many and the new clip does a decent job of showcasing some of the 120 fps action, which is said to look spectacular on the big-screen in 3D.

The über-ambitious sci-fi action thriller stars 2x Academy Award-nominee Will Smith as a pair of identical ultra-elite assassins - Henry Brogan & Junior - who will find themselves pitted against one another by a former friend-turned-enemy that's decided to eliminate Brogan for reasons yet-to-be-determined.

In addition to Smith, Academy Award-nominee Clive Owen (Inside Man), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey) and Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) will also feature in major roles.

Looks a bit over the top...

Yikes... there's some really wonky CGI body/bike stuff going on here. For example, that bike spin to the face is unrealistic visually.

I like the bike throw at the end but are they genetically enhanced or is this like a fast and the furious spin off of unrealism? Jeez

@MyCoolYoung - Yeah, they're enhanced. Trailers kinda imply it...which is why he can take that roundhouse kick in the face...by the back wheel 😲😬

@Lem1 - I've watched every trailer with no Volume (don't ask why because I don't know lol) but thanks

Yikes.

Obvious CGI and wonky physics when he gets backhanded by the bike lol. Bikes are heavy he should have got knocked out. I'm guessing they are not human.

Also car changes color and model at the end. Hopefully this is corrected by release date. lol

@Comicbookart - whoa! Though its not that the car changes color and model, its that he winds up in front of a different car between frames. The green car is still visible in the same shot as the white car (and where the heck did this white car come from, its not in any of the previous shots).

@HeavyMetal4Life - lol. It's like there's a frame missing or something.

I really hope this is changed before the release date. It's so distracting. The car goes from green to white. lol.

@Comicbookart - its possible there is a frame missing, but I'm not so sure. Will looks up, leaning on the green car to see his younger self driving the bike, raised up, towards him. Then there's a couple seconds of his younger self driving the bike forward, and then Will narrowly dodges the bike on the white car. If this isn't an edit of a slightly longer sequence, then its really bad.

@HeavyMetal4Life - lol. Imagine seeing such a blatant error in super duper 120 fps 3D.

I still plan on seeing this though. This is basically like the first of it's kind and some critics who saw it said they never seen anything like it. I'm glad I read that, because this clip is doing this film no favors.

@Comicbookart - I keep hearing that this film is a technical marvel, that its evolving the film industry forward, etc. And I have seen nothing yet to indicate this. This clip is certainly in the movie (with or without this bizarre car change), so that means the wonky rubbery humans in this clip will be in the final product. Additionally, this also means that the marketing has been subpar if what the critics are raving about isn't being shown.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Hey bro, don't try to convince me not to see this.

It's too late! lol.

Were there deleted scenes in this year's flicks of companies that sold genetically advanced motorcycles with this and Idris Elba's bike in HOBBS & SHAW?

I know people have been comparing this to LOOPER, but I'm I the only one who feels like this is the studio notes version of that flick.

I want to be excited but I just feel like it's...there. The music is there, the action is there, the star is there. Absolutely nothing more, but absolutely nothing less as well.

Sidenote, with Ang Lee directing, I wish Danny Elfman did the score for this flick after Lee did his last couples of flicks with Mychael Danna and/or his brother Jeff. Plus, Elfman already scored the MIB movies with Will Smith.
