JURASSIC WORLD: CAMP CRETACEOUS Renewed For Season 2; First Official Teaser Released

Following a successful launch last month, Netflix has officially ordered a second season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, which is set to debut on the streaming giant sometime in 2021.

Netflix has released the official teaser for the upcoming second season of DreamWorks Animation's Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, which is set to debut on the streaming giant sometime in 2021.

While plot details are being kept under wraps, the new season will presumably pick up shortly after the events of season one, with the six young teenage campers left stranded on Isla Nublar and forced to fend for themselves. It's also expected to move past the events of the first movie, so there's no telling where the story may go.

The main cast of Paul-Mikél Williams (Westworld), Jenna Ortega (You), Ryan Potter (Titans), Raini Rodriguez (Austin & Ally), Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs) and Kausar Mohammed (Silicon Valley) are all expected to return to voice their respective roles, along with Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick), who play their adult camp counselors.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous follows a group of six teenagers chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar. But when dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island, the campers are stranded. Unable to reach the outside world, they’ll need to go from strangers to friends to family if they’re going to survive. Scott Kreamer (Pinky Malinky) and Lane Lueras (Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny) serve as showrunners and executive producers. The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow. Zack Stentz serves as consulting producer.
